July 9, 201015 yr I just installed Oz's freeware PNW's airports. I have PNW above all other OZ entries in the LIB.When I went to 7WA5, the runway was a long trench/crater. This is with North America enabled in the FTX Central. Does anybody else have this problem?Should this scenery have been installed with FTX Central as either:A: DEFAULTorB: NORTH AMERICA....?

July 9, 201015 yr Author Mitch-mine is fine-but what a cool little airport-thanks for getting me to look at it.That's interesting. I just reinstalled it all again with FTX Central as DEFAULT, , then before firing up FSX, went to North America---and the landing strip is still a long trench. Nothing else is affected in the scenery. I wonder why yours is ok...and mine looks like an earthquake hit the landing strip?!?!?!?Anybody have a suggestion for a fix?Post Edit: I'm not going to worry about one airstrip. I just did a fly-about with the Ultralight..and there are many island airstrips to discover. One is on top of a long island mount...great approach to try to get into...with good scenery detail within the Hut. Looks like two planes are being torn down for repair, lol. Anyway, back to island hopping and seeing what else is here. Great scenery in the area surrounding 7WA5.Mitch
July 9, 201015 yr Just a question Mitch.Did you install the OZx library file too as you have to have that installed as well. Its a seperate download on their site.http://aussiex.org/forum/index.php?app=dow...p;showfile=1255Might be one of the reasons you could be having problems.Craig
July 9, 201015 yr Commercial Member Actually, I have the same issue, so you are not alone. I installed all files as authored and have the library installed. No other OZx NA airport is effected. - Cody Bergland (Owner, Jaggyroad Films) Our YouTube Channel (featuring over 100 OFFICIAL product videos): https://www.youtube.com/user/valkyrie321 <- CLICK HERE

Right now, I having a blast in the Tiger Moth Bi-Plane doing touch 'n go's around all the islands. I guess if they want to fix the elevation on 7WA5, it would be appreciated. Interesting though, that Geofa reports no trench in the middle of the airstrip with his installing it.I haven't found another one with the trenching so far....MitchJust a question Mitch.Did you install the OZx library file too as you have to have that installed as well. I also went into Scen Lib and put PNW above OZ 3.2 as well. I've been flying around this beautiful area, and haven't found another so far with the same bug as 7WA5. Here's hoping I won't. I really appreciate their effort, and thank you to the team. The scenery is great! I have in Scen Lib, 1. PNW. 2.Oz 3.2 and all the Oz lib's from position 3 on down...Mitch
July 9, 201015 yr According to Mark, one of the OZx developers, it does not matter what state PNW or Australia is in for the install. They can be activated or deactivated.
July 9, 201015 yr With the Australia Ozx and Orbx you have to have Ozx above the Orbx entries, so I would guess the same applies with PNW. Try it layered asOzx airportsOzx libraryPNW Orbx entries Stephen Munn
July 9, 201015 yr Just would like to add that I just installed the scenery and the library and had OrbX turned on with FXCentral and went to the airport mentioned and its all fine for me. No trench etc. Also noticed that all the OzX layers are above the OrbX layers so as previous poster mentioned you should try moving the OzX layers above the Orbx layers as that might help too.Craig

Moved the layers around as suggested...and SUCCESS! 7WA5 is lookin' good without craters! Whew. Thanks for the layer suggestions everyone. I mixed and matched and came up with a winner. Here is what works:1. OZx_NA2. OZx_AUS3. OZx_LIB4. FTX_AA_2S15. FTX_AA_WA696. FTXAA_AIRPORTS7. FTXAA_HOLGERMESH8. FTXAI_TRAFFIC9. FTXAU05_ROADS10. Case of not reading the instructions properly (usually one of my failings I must admit)Bryan.
