Thanks for the heads up.I'm thinking the Islander may be a good choice.

Too bad, I just bought audio environment like a month ago. I even held off on this purchase for a while and I am still not convinced it is very good. Oh well, it was worth a try but frankly I think that it is FSX itself that is the issue for sound. I just have not heard anything that sounds like being at an airport in real life. The best I have heard are the engines on the PMDG 747.

Interesting. Wonder why the download of the Mustang is 10.00 more than the CD version. It's usually the other way around.

Thank you.

They apparently have corrected it. No it's 29.95 CD / 24.95 Download.Wolfgang

As of right now, the price of the Mustang still has not been changed.

It seems they have messed up the prices and links. When you follow the link of the OP you come directly to the Bundles/Deals site. The prices stated there seem to be correct. But when you follow the links from there to the download sites you'll find different prices, which seem to be wrong..Wolfgang

Following the link given by the OP to the bundles page, the Mustang now shows $44.95 for both the download and the CD. Don't see where it says $29.95 and $24.95. Must show these prices when you try to purchase. Also, if you click on the image of the box, a page comes up that shows the download at $54.95 and the CD version at $44.95. These were the same prices that were shown on the bundles page earlier this am.

Thank you.

OOps, I was referring to the P51D Mustang, but it seems every one else was talking about the Citation Mustang! :( Wolfgang

Bought the BN2 Islander, and I'm glad I did! Not only does it look great, the sounds are absolutely fantastic, the detailing is awesome and the performance it good on my machine. I will definetely fly this aircraft more often! Already enjoy it tremendously.

I also bought Audio Environment before the sale. I bought it because non-native FSX sounds do not work well on my system and produce lots of distortion that sounds like phasing. TSS FSX stuff sounds great. TSS FS9 stuff imported to FSX sounds terribleI do like the UI aircraft sounds but I don't like the ai sounds. As mentioned, it is likely an issue with FSX rather than Audio Environment but they could have compensated for the FSX issues a little better. My biggest complaint is that when in your aircrafts vc, the ai engine sounds are louder than your aircraft's sounds. Changing volume levels doesn't help because both sound sets are mapped to engine sounds. I have the same issue with the AES push back tug. Way too loud for me - sounds like you have the cockpit window open.

That's a shame. I would be willing to d/l it for $24.95, but not for $44.95 or $54.95. Oh well, we can always hope for a bigger sale down the road. :(

Thank you.
