August 29, 201015 yr Thanks Steve!!!Phenomenal of you to jump in... As for FS9 being viable, you don't have to convince any of us in this thread!!! We are the resilient few who get a :( everytime we try to convince people HOW viable FS9 is from a user perspective :( From a developers perspective is a whole different matter and like you said it is a risky venture at this point. I know I am still having those "holy crud look at that moments" in FS9 where it continues to blow me away regularly. Especially flying those heavies into massive hubs with full AI REX and ASE in full force...I am still amazed from an end user perspective at how much FS9 delivers but from an earnings perspective for the developers; well that is diminishing rapidly and nowhere near where we were a few years ago.-PPS... This is obviously just my opinion, not trying to state a fact or anything, just my perception recently..I share all what Paul wrote.I bought the iFly, yes, and I am enjoying it a lot! I believe though, that when the NGX from PMDG come out, will be many WOW words and watery mouths. Maybe with some initial bugs, which is normal.I believe, as an FS9'r, the time of it is coming to an end in my perspective, and in my PCBFP that is running it. But at least I finish the FS9 chapter with joy! :( Best regards! It isn't the lack of aircraft in FSX that deters people from it's use. It's the inherent differences in FSX in general. It is definitely a good time to be a user of both sims. :( Ark -------------------------- I9 9900K @ 5ghz / 32GB G.Skill (Samsung B) / Aorus Master Mobo / EVGA GTX 2080Ti FTW 3

August 29, 201015 yr Hey, Jure, do you plan on doing any more repaints? Oh, and guilty. Depending on the SP progress over the next few weeks, I may return it, then repurchase when the SP comes out. Joe Sherrill

August 30, 201015 yr Hey, Jure, do you plan on doing any more repaints? Very likely, if I find the time. Now that I'm in the groove another Southwest could appear soon(ish) :Whistle:Regards,Jure

September 2, 201015 yr I'll probably buy this today or soon-ish. To be honest I'd prefer an A320 for FS9 (no reason, just me) but it looks like that's not going to happen in reality. So another Boeing it is for FS9. Gavin Barbara Over 10 years here and AVSIM is still my favourite FS site :-)
