September 14, 201015 yr Rafal's advice is good and I'd like to add that if you're happy in the QW757, it's not really a great leap up to use the iFly. I love it already and strongly recommend it. Sure there are a few minor issues (no show stoppers) but I feel very confident that these will be worked out. The support forums are remarkably civilised and I've no idea when, or if, those poor support members get any sleep. They really do go the extra mile. With the 30 day refund policy, you risk nothing giving it a go. Gavin Barbara Over 10 years here and AVSIM is still my favourite FS site :-)

September 14, 201015 yr Waste of money if you have the superior PMDG 737For me the most valuable (really!) information coming from these words is how different people's views of the same things are. PS: After you had passed your judgement on August 28, I would be surprised to hear a different verdict today. :(
September 15, 201015 yr I purchased it a few days ago And am extremely happy about my purchase, even with owning the pmdg 37 i am really happy i purchased it.The customer support alone is phenomenal.P.S in my 5 and a half years here I have never had a supporting banner until now, so I can assure you I am extremely happy about my purchase and the customer support that is received. September 15, 201015 yr Well something's gotta be good with this bird then. :( :( Intel I7 12700KF / 32 GB Ram-3600mhz / Windows 11 - 64 bit / NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3060TI / 32" Acer Monitor, Honeycomb alpha/bravo, CH rudder pedals, Tobii 5, Buttkicker, Logitech radio panel.
September 15, 201015 yr I agree with Rafal, Gerry and the majority of others here that this is a very good add on. It has tremendous potential and I think the developers and support have instilled enough confidence in the customer that he or she is being heard. If you ask me TODAY, I would still say that PMDG is my preferred NG. But let us not forget that PMDG did not get there without releasing more than a couple patches, Service Packs etc. I mean, let us not compare the two as Ifly is yet to release even their first SP, who knows what improvements, if any, that will bring. Even the fantastic LDS 767 went through its share of patching before reaching its current state.I feel that the "Out of the Box" version is definitely one of the better "complex" add-on's I have seen and I am confident it will only get better with time. Hey, all those who were harking about PMDG not making the NGX for FS9, is it not possible that Ifly maybe the answer to your prayers to a large extent ?Just my 2 bits,Dinshaw.

September 15, 201015 yr I've had a go of it.Waste of money if you have the superior PMDG 737.Dave That's a cute statement.Just for some very rough sales estimates...there are 680 licensed users (people that had to buy the plane to get that title) on the iFly forum. If that's 85% of the people that bought the plane, that would be 782 people that purchased this plane. Just taking that 680 number with a purchase price of $54.95, they would have made $37,366.00 do far. At 782, that number jumps to $42,970.90. Considering that the iFly was released 19 days ago and that this is an advanced simulation marketed towards the hardcore simmer, I would say that they are doing pretty good. Matt L.

What do sales figures have to do with someone's opinion of a product? Nothing. I'm also surprised by his comment but your response has no relevance to his post. Again. At least he seems to have escaped the verbal abuse I got when I breathed the forbidden letters earlier, even though I never even said the forbidden aicraft was better than the iFly version at any stage, like he has.You would do better discussing some of the great points of the iFly aircraft that make it superior, rather than quoting FS9 sales figures everywhere you go. Sell the product, not the situation. Most people don't care / know about the situation.

Sell the product, not the situation. Most people don't care / know about the situation. You forgot to put my paragraph separation in with your quote. The paragraph is in there to separate the 2 completely unrelated statements. Also, I don't need to sell the product...it's doing a good job of doing that on its own.I completely forgot about the "verbal abuse" that I gave you. It was so bad that the moderators didn't even delete it...perhaps because they realized that I was speaking in general and not in particular about you. Irregardless, that was nearly 3 weeks ago...let it go. I did. Matt L.
September 15, 201015 yr Calm down chaps. If someone prefers the PMDG model, that's fine. Mostly the iFly product and forums are remarkable free of unpleasantness. Can we not all just continue to respect each other's opinions?Keep smiling :( Gavin Barbara Over 10 years here and AVSIM is still my favourite FS site :-)
September 15, 201015 yr I bought it yesterday and can't stop flying it. The vc lighting has a magical glow and a warm evironmental feeling and it's awesome. :( Dave Taylor

September 15, 201015 yr I have the PMDG 737 and it`s in the hanger ;)/SvendI also bought the iFly 737 and, so far I feel it is a very good simulation. I have PMDG's 737, and will not use it at all now that I have iFly's version for FS9. That is not anything against PMDG in the least. Their FS9 737 is just way old and outdated. I'm sure that what they are working on now for FSX, will make their FS9 version completely unrecognizable.iFly is going to release an FSX version of their 737 and, for the money, will be a very hot contender for FSX 737s. Especially considering their FS9 version is fully complex, easy on FPS, visually quite good, very enjoyable and a very good value. Also, it sure is not taking long to see a lot of great free liveries becoming available.I still enjoy FS9 and purchase addons for it, but I do like FSX better because of the new addons available and sharper HD images.
