HJG has released the 717

Featured Replies

Historic Jetliners Group (HJG) has released the Boeing 717. Has custom sounds and a bunch of liveries. They are working on a panel but it's not done yet.http://www.simviation.com/hjg/main.htm

Hi, Are they using the Cantu model from the old SGA group or do they develop their own ??? I like the way the old SGA one flies - I just never had a decent panel for it... I'll be looking for this plane...Thanks,Scott

I didn't try it out yet, but to me it looks like a new model.

Aww geez I just got FSX up and running on the new rig and I've been putting off installing FS9 so that I could have some time to enjoy simply flying, but now there's no way I can resist I've got to get this 717 and their DC-9's. What else do they have in the works?

I assume it doesn't come with a VC?

Mike...

No VC and AFAIK, there's also no panel for the 717 yet... although it would be strange: HJG offering glass cockpits? :Thinking:Best regards from Colombia,Luis Miguel

A plane with no VC might as well have no wings :)

Just as a forum member with no sense of gratitude might as well not even post ?

I am so glad someone said something. :(

Ha! Fair enough indeed. I just didn't really understand what we're supposed to do with this aircraft. Is it for AI? Not familiar with HJG... yet

So when will see your panel in your latest video production, Ed? :(

At first glance, it looks to be the JC (Jet City) 717.

717 is Retro!? Man, I'm getting older faster than I thought!OK, let's see.....the 717 is the Boeing name for the McDonnell-Douglas MD-95. Entered Service in 1999.In the current American Airlines fleet, they have 165 MD-82s and 86 MD-83s. MD-82 entered service in 1981.MD-83 entered service in 1985.Although the 717 is 11 service years old, it's a heckofa lot younger than 250+ MD-80 series "retro" aircraft that American is still flying. But on further thought.....I AM getting old. Time for serious sack time!gwillmot
