October 11, 201015 yr Been lurking here for years, not one to pester PMDG as they are the "Concorde Class" of MSFS add-onsI've been timing out the slow purchase my new PC specifically for the NGX and my insane addiction to flight simulaton. As of 10 minutes ago, its finally built. I7 930 w/ planned o/c, GTX480, 6GB RAM. Ive said for two years that im not hitting the power button till it at least hits beta. Please dont make me wait too long Seriously though, Its been a few years of waiting, Im far beyond the waiting in desperation stage. It will come when it comes, Im enjoying the off topic aviation posts and videos that get posted occasionally. I know the NG inside and out, probally much more then a typical 737 lover. With all these little details and quirks (I have a few ideas as to what those could be :( ) I do look forward to comparing our performance data from the real world, to what we get in FSX. The FS9 version wasnt too far off concidering our weights differ in the real world, from what is replicated. I get a feeling this product alone carrys the FS community and hobby right on through to MS Flight. October 11, 201015 yr Luca-The PMDG 747-400 for FS9 was in beta for approximately five months. The PMDG MD-11 was in beta for approximately three...Neither statistic is valuable in this case, however, as we have a completely different testing process now than we did for those projects.Almost time for the white smoke from the chimney, almost but not quite yet. October 11, 201015 yr After a comprehensive analysis I concluded that the beta test will be 1 month and 1 day (plus a few hours)... Hope so :(
October 11, 201015 yr hey guys,so the PMDG's website says the NGX will be released in 2010. So we are in October of 2010, so we have to wait less then three months.
October 11, 201015 yr Like I said before it will make a good XMAS present,if released in time for the holidays. JeffG Jeffrey Gerbert

Looks like Westjet are already beta testing the PMDG 737NGX. Look how real it looks. Notice the attention to detail. Even the peephole in the door has been modeled, complete with dirt on the lens. If you look carefully you can see a Penthouse Pet wearing a naughty flight attendant dress in the galley. This will be the next pogo stick, I am sure. "A life is like a garden.
