October 19, 201015 yr Pretty much what the title says...I can't access the forums and the Tablet PC has server errors. Is it finally the end of the most infamous FS company to ever hit the skies (or at least attempt to)?If so, I'm glad they're gone. Nothing but lies they've been, and they've been incredibly stupid. Everything that could go wrong went wrong and they handled the situation extremely unprofessionally. I feel sorry for whoever bought it. At least now that they're down people might spend their money on something better.
October 19, 201015 yr No, i think they still exist.1) Aerosoft lately has this type of error all the time it seems.2) You say the TabletPC has server errors. If the TabletPC is linked to the same server the forum is on, then it is no surprise the TabletPC will show errors of its own...3) their website is still up. only their forum seems to be down. So, there is no reason to think they are gone, and I wouldn't want them too. However stupid they might have been, they still are the only company currently trying to do a sophisticated Airbus for FS9. I really do not want to see this attempt fail, whatever their history might be. October 19, 201015 yr they're goneMight be. I haven't seen their A320 being offered by Flight1 anymore.
October 19, 201015 yr Might be. I haven't seen their A320 being offered by Flight1 anymore.The Airbus Flight1 Installer is posted on the Airsimmer website. Ark -------------------------- I9 9900K @ 5ghz / 32GB G.Skill (Samsung B) / Aorus Master Mobo / EVGA GTX 2080Ti FTW 3
October 19, 201015 yr The Airbus Flight1 Installer is posted on the Airsimmer websiteYes, but previously you could find this product on the Flight1 site, advertised as all others which are sold. Now it's gone. Unless I messed something up (happens from time to time)?
October 19, 201015 yr I myself actually never saw it posted at the Flight1 website, but I maybe didn't look well enough. In any case, I don't think they're gone - yet. Until I see something official, or everything taken down, I stand by my earlier post. October 19, 201015 yr To me it seems a technical issue. The website is still up and running. And for anyone who wants to buy the basic bus the "BUY" button is right there ready for you. :( JasonFAA CPL SEL MEL IR CFI-I MEI AGI

At least now that they're down people might spend their money on something better. You feel sorry for anyone who bought it? No need to feel sorry, I've been using the Aircraft happily for the past few months, If anyone is still complaining about major issues then they didn't register the product and log onto the tech forums to get the fixes. Definitely not sticking up for Airsimmer here as I think the level of support on the forum is extremely bad and most work around's have come from experienced simmers like myself, the bottom line for me is I wanted a Airbus that simulated the FBW Laws Ground,Normal,Flare etc, had realistic systems coding, a good VC and sound systems and could get me from A-B whilst I study the FCOM. It ticked all the boxes for me, I wouldn't suggest this aircraft to anyone unless they really know the in's and out's of how FS works. Otherwise it's a great aircraft, that works fine if you know how to use it.Regards Rob Prest
October 19, 201015 yr it's a great aircraft, that works fine if you know how to use itRob, do I read your words correctly? People who had problems with using the Airsimmer product had them because they didn't know how to use it?To be clear: I'm absolutely NOT trying to pull another AS thread but just, facing an experienced simmer's opinion, wondering if I made a mistake applying for Flight1 refund for this product.A decent FS9 airbus is essential for our community. I just had an impression Airsimmer was very far from that.
October 19, 201015 yr Moderator Yes, but previously you could find this product on the Flight1 site, advertised as all others which are sold. Now it's gone. Unless I messed something up (happens from time to time)? They most likely pulled it from direct sales via the Flight1 site to cut costs!Projects sold directly from Flight1's cost them 30% of the sales price.Projects selling via their own website using the basic Flight1 wrapper cost them 12% of the sales price. I really don't want go into should someone buy it or not, of course it's up to the individual. My only problem with a lot of comments I read about the Aircaft is the fact that I let it prevent me from buying it and trying it myself, when I did purchase it I was able to resolve 90% of the issues from my knowledge with other addons. I and a few others have posted fixes workarounds etc on the tech forum, and for me now the aircraft works perfectly except for some minor stuff. It still needs a lot of work to operate out of the box for the average simmer however if your the kinda guy that is used to helping out other simmers fix there FS9 problems on forums then this aircaft wont give you too much trouble.I have about 120 hours on this thing and will be flying it on a 4 hour return leg from LGAV back to Bahrain and will be expecting zero issues enroute.Lastly, the whole customer service and general running of the company seems very poor so thats a whole other story, however the level of detail that has been put into the systems is very good, in some areas exceeding what I would expect from high end developers, you can test it accurately with the real FCOM, the only thing that is missing are the ECAM Actions, failures and Direct Law. October 19, 201015 yr Hello everyone,I love this plane even with all the bugs. I paid for both versions, basic and extended and I like the realistic sounds, the incredible exterior (apart from one terrible mistake never fixed...), the perfect systems and I really expect that someday it will be finished.Support is terrible and the worst they do is making false promises, announcing projects and even dates. But I still confide in them. (Or I want to before getting angry because of buying it twice). Is there any fix apart from updates from tablet pc that makes it better?I would like to know if there are any unofficial patches.I prefer Airsimmer 100 times rather than Aerosoft (talking about Airbus of course). I can't stand moving ailerons without any power, flying without 2D panel, getting pack sounds without bleed, beacon lights flashing not synchronized...Please PMDG, we want an Airbus from you!!!Thanks. October 19, 201015 yr By the way, just curious: does the basic have any way to save the panel state so that one can continue the flying at a later point in time? I really don't need it as elaborate as PMDG or Level-D, but just being able to have it automatically reload the panel state of the previously saved file would be already great. This is actually what really holds me from buying it... October 19, 201015 yr Rob, From what I can see, you seem to be the only one who is offering any kind of support at that site. I'd love to love the AS320. You just never know if you're going to be able to complete a flight or not.Getting displays like this on the ND does not help. I'd be willing to take any advice you can give to make this thing flyable.
