Has anyone in this forum looked at or have this Flight Simulator package?I have tried to see if there are any reviews on this but could not find any>If so how does it compare to FSX?Linkproflightsimulator.comThanks to all who reply.Bill

Hello !This is a scam. :( To learn more about it:http://wiki.flightgear.org/index.php/FlightProSimIf you want a better sim than proflightsimulator.com, and for free, here's the real FlightGear Flight Simulator:http://www.flightgear.org/You can't really compare it to FSX: FlightGear is free software. FSX is a commercial product. Here are screen shots with FlightGear:http://forum.avsim.net/topic/318541-beechcraft-1900d/http://forum.avsim.net/topic/290576-cessna-172/Happy flying. :(

This is very discouraging. I was looking at this simulator the other day after seeing an ad, and even considered contacting the company to see if they were interested in some marketing. I didn't however, but the thought hadn't left my mind. After reading this, I now have zero interest in contacting them. I would not like to be involved in what some may consider a snake oil sale. The implications of this on a professional flight community are not good.... of course we are only hearing one side of the debate, but the dubious marketing I have seen leaves questions in one's head.*shrugs*

my only comment .. I think you should have engaged the company before drawing your negative conclusion.

Of course what you really should do, is get hired to make a film for them, then take the money and present them with a film which someone else has made that you have put different credits onto. See how they like it. LOLAl

Why? Its pretty obvious what that 'company' is doing.

The "company" appears to be based out of New Zealand, however the individual is in the United States according to the FGFS mailing list.

Might be suitable to add the following:The suspect program is not to be confused with ProFlight2000 (PF2000) in conjunction with ProFlight Emulator (PFE)which is a combination of programs well worth having IMHO for ATC.Respectfully:RTH

Why?I take pride in that I attempt to only contract my services to products and or companies that I feel are on the level, so to speak, and create quality products. That isn't to say I haven't made mistakes in the past when in fact I have departed ways with companies because of this principal.I do not wish to market something that I myself would not be interested in purchasing, and frankly my spider senses are tingling.I think it is a fair stance.

It is a fair stance, this is just some con artist trying to market Free Open Source as a new product. It's just a con-artist who is trying to play on people's not knowing about flightgear. It is especially bad given that I've seen ads for it or it's related scams on facebook and google ads, and just about everywhere else. I have to wonder how many people get ripped off because this guy is so spread out in marketing and the people are uninformed.

Hello !After FlightProSim.com and ProFlightSimulator.com, you can now find EarthFlightSim.com !It's a different name but the same scam... :( http://forum.avsim.n...lightsimulator/http://www.flightgea...ightprosim.htmlBest regards and happy flying. :(
I feel really sorry for the poor folks who don't realize that it's a scam. This just confirms however that the person is changing their name on the site every time they shift to a new name for their scam. It makes me wonder who they really are.

Peter, these multiple named sites are most likely those belonging to individuals who've signed up for the "Affiliate" program. They are simply acting as additional brokers for the same package... :(
