Iris $5 sale problems buying aircraft

Featured Replies

Hi,Yesterday I bought the F14 Tomcat, no problems with the transaction. Today I was after buying the Diamond Twin Star and the Vulcan, however when I go to pay I get this message from the paymate payment screen : "We cannot process this payment as it exceeds the monthly level set by your seller. Please contact the seller."Anyone else had this problem? I notice other people are buying several aircraft, so I presume you can buy more than one at the discount price. I have posted this on the Iris forum but thought I'd throw it open here too, see if anyone has any idea's.I also noticed some people have paid via paypal, but I can't see an option for that when ordering via the Iris web site as I would try via paypal instead, see if that made a difference. Thanks in advanceSteve

I also had the same problem when I tried to buy the A-10 and F-16.

Ah, glad I am not the only one... I haven't bought anything from Iris before: the DA-40 would be my first purchase, but I get the same message after entering all my personal information... Odd.One thing that came to mind is that the limit doesn't concern us, the customer, but Iris, the seller...! Maybe their payment contract with that payment site has some sort of limit of transactions and they are selling way too much products right now... Just a thought...EDITI just checked my brand new account on that Iris shop site and the DA-40 is already in the Previous orders screen... however it also says 'Prepayment'... So maybe they are awaiting verification or maybe our purchase will be processed as soon as the payment site has removed the limit or whatever...? Just guessing wildly here... ;)

I just tried to do it with a single aircraft vice the two and it still does not work.

I don't dare to try it again... I already pressed 'proceed' or whatever on the payment screen twice and who knows every click is a purchase later on...Since I now know I am not the only one, I do really think it has something to do with an unforseen amount of sales at the Iris site...

Same problem when I tried to purchase the PC-9 and Vulcan.

I just ran into the same problem trying to pick up the A-10. This would be my third purchase in a five days.

No issues in the last hour, bought two items in two separate transactions and that's after having bought three others over the previous three days. That's in Firefox browser.Al

Same problem for me. Don't try to pay for them a second time, as it will result in multiple orders for the same thing. I've emailed them to request that one is cancelled, as for some reason I can't see an option to cancel one myself. Here's hoping it gets sorted rather than just processed through automatically and charged twice.

Where did you see you actually ordered it twice?

I'm having problems too.I only want the Vulcan, and it won't let me buy it. Great!Ian

Same problem here.

Well, I am sure they will sort it out and let us get the planes we want for today's prices... :( (They better...!!!! :( )

I had the same error, as have a bunch of people. David is in Australia, I believe, and he posted on another forum a few hours ago that he was going to bed at 2:30 am. Based on that, it's a little early to expect him to be up and about. I'm sure that once he sees what is happening, he'll fix the problem if he can.
