February 13, 201115 yr Be nicer to see a good CRJ than an oudated BAE. flying RW routes I can not remember calling for a BAE. I suppose Euro its more common.I will admit that I would have really loved for QW CRJ complete package but Aerosoft/ Digital Aviation is working on one for fsx and who knows maybe feelthere will make v2 of the crj. I have never unfortunately seen a BAe up close and there hardly any in the u.s. February 13, 201115 yr Be nicer to see a good CRJ than an oudated BAE. flying RW routes I can not remember calling for a BAE. I suppose Euro its more common. In Europe its a common aircraft, still used quite widely. In the US, indeed, you don't see it often. Anyway, as was said, a CRJ is in the works by Aerosoft/Digital Aviation. February 14, 201115 yr Wasn't aerosoft going to make one of them?I remember reading something sometime last year, but I haven't heard anymore since. This quote from the Quality Wings website may be the answer to what happened to the Aerosoft version (Hmmm, idle speculation)."The reality is that the majority of the QualityWings team has been working on this Avro series for over 2 years to be released outside of QualityWings. The decision was made by the Avro team members to bring the aircraft to QualityWings Simulations and we are delighted that this fine British piece of engineering will carry the QualityWings brand."
February 14, 201115 yr This will be a very interesting release then. As far as I understood, they even plan to go one step up (="heavier") in system depth, so Jumbolino might arrive for the mid to high system detail users. Much appreciated in my eyes.
February 14, 201115 yr This quote from the Quality Wings website may be the answer to what happened to the Aerosoft version (Hmmm, idle speculation). There's no connection between this and the Aerosoft project. The team Aerosoft had planned to use was the same team that was working on the Airbus/CRJ projects. This 146 team for the most part is the same team that worked on the QW757, just outside of QW until recently.Regards.Ernie.
