Carenado makes nice looking planes, but the VC is mostly not the same level as RearAir provides. Nevertheless a King Air would be indeed nice. I know it´s an old one, maybe they´re better now. Best regards, Steffen Fight time: NGX 737-700: 37,0h; -800: 47,2h

February 26, 201115 yr Well, you might be right. I have the C206 and the VC isn´t the best, but it´s flyable. I know it´s an old one, maybe they´re better now.Their newer VC's are actually very nice, far nicer than anything realair has done. However their flight modeling certainly needs some more work and they NEED a whole new beta team. Their current team isn't cutting it.Actually Carenado has proven one of my big points. Just because you have real world pilots on your beta team doesn't mean the end product will be accurate or clean. Everyone kept mocking me because I'm not a real pilot, yet the real pilots STILL didn't get the C340 right. It was the FS community that came together and made a list of problems for carenado to fix (as well as some temporary fixes), just like most of their other releases. "I told you so." But I'm just a stupid 22 year old who doesn't know anything... :( Tired of Streetlights everywhere? Try MSFS DarkStreets today!
February 26, 201115 yr Their C340 looks indeed really nice, but I can´t actually afford it. But I maybe get her in the futur, cause Iike light GA twins with a decent amount of power. Best regards, Steffen Fight time: NGX 737-700: 37,0h; -800: 47,2h
February 26, 201115 yr Author unfortuanately my money will ONLY go to the new Realair Duke Turbine..Carenado make planes for the masses. I personally rather go for quality products I have to agree. I'm very glad about the Realair turbine Duke. But a KIngair would be nice. I'm surprised given the quality level of the visual product that they cannot source a real expert for flight dynamics.

I'm surprised given the quality level of the visual product that they cannot source a real expert for flight dynamics.AFAIK Carenado are based somewhere in South America? To be fair to them, finding someone who owns and flies a Cessna 340 and is willing to test their product may be somewhat difficult. It's just a pity that they put so much effort into the eye-candy without producing an airfile worthy of the original aircraft. February 27, 201115 yr At least an air file can me modified. Better than not having some systems not working. But then again it would be nice if either of these 2 companies can simulate the engines properly. Neither of them have the mixture simulated.
February 27, 201115 yr Their newer VC's are actually very nice, far nicer than anything realair has done. Huh? I've always appreciated a crisp clean VC with 3d gauges - looks much better than Carenado's... even their 340Opinion I guess :(At least an air file can me modified. February 27, 201115 yr Commercial Member Pull the mixtures back. Fuel folws do not drop and egt does not increase. There must be something odd in your setup. My fuel flows definitely change based on mixture in the 340 and in the Bonanza - the two Carenado birds I've flown most recently. February 27, 201115 yr Hmmmm. I wonder if it happens when you use a lever on the throttle quadrant as mixture. I wonder if it works if I use Control F2 or whatever the default keyboard setting is.
