February 28, 201115 yr Author Well, the way I look at it is, I've spent a couple of thousands of euros on add-ons for FS9 and I only use a handful of the stuff I've bought! While I don't have any Realair simulation aircrafts for FSX, I have several of their FS9 products and know their very high standard. I also have used the RealityXP 530 for FS9 and now they definitely deliver. Sooooo, it might just get a few airplanes for FSX that I devote a lot of time to actually learning and cough up the 144,85 € for the Reality XP plus the 35 € for the Duke. Rather that than spend the same amount on 4-5 aircrafts that I barely scratch the surface on...Anyway, thanks for all the responses. Krister LindénEFMA, Finland------------------

Only the A2A accusimmed aircraft are equal, but they are all legacy aircraft that lack the modern instrumentation (I should know as I have the B-17, P-47, Piper Cib, and the new MkI/II Spitfire!).The Duke is simply unparalled...a great FSX plane. February 28, 201115 yr cough up the 144,85 € for the Reality XPThe way I see it, is more like buying two, 2000$ computers and spending 4000$ on the LAN cable...Benjamin
March 1, 201115 yr If you are starting from scratch, I would buy the 530 for the Duke..and select the 530 Layout2 option in the configurator. It has a bigger screen and is more similar to the 500 that comes with FSX.If you have other planes, like the Lancair or Bonanza that can only fitthe (smaller) 430 into the panel - the 430 might be more versatile...But again, for the Duke, the 530 would be my choice.Thank you Bert.I will prob get the 530 then.I also read that the best combo would be 530+430+crossfill option but the price is a bit steep.Vic

If it was just going into the Duke I probably wouldn't be considering it, but after using the GNS530 I can't see me flying anything with the default GPS anymore !!!!G Gary Davies aka "Gazzareth" Simming since 747 on the Acorn Electron

March 1, 201115 yr This plane got me to buy the 530 as well. Now I've got both, but not the unlimited pack. It isn't the end of the world if I have to enter in the flight plan in both units. It isn't worth another 100 dollars to me, that's for sure. The 530 is just beautiful in the Duke. Tired of Streetlights everywhere? Try MSFS DarkStreets today!
March 2, 201115 yr I bought the reality xp 530, installed it in the duke and flew egnx-egpk. Both addons are great.I'm not sure I'm just too happy or something but I do think the duke and the 530 are my best fs investment yet.The duke looks perfect to me and no fps hit. and the 530 is amazing.Couldn't be happier !Vic
May 8, 201115 yr I use RXP 430+530 layout without Unlimited Pack, installed in my Piston Duke.Is it possible to slave the VOR2 gauge with the GNS430? If I push the CDI button, nothing happens...It seems to me that you can only slave the HSI with the GNS530. Am i doing something wrong? Thanks.
