March 2, 201115 yr First, sorry for asking this question since I know it has been asked before - I'm just unable to find the threads!I have decided to broaden my vision and start flying GA airplanes in FSX. I guess my interest coincides with my intentions of getting an UL certificate (the European UL class). While I of course know that there is a BIG DIFFERENCE between flying IRL and in the simulator and one shouldn't pick up bad habits, I'm curious to find what (from my theory books) I can reproduce and mess around with in FSX. My flight simming time is otherwise mostly spent on flightlevels in FS9 on VATSIM.So my question is, is there any sort of consensus as to which FSX GA airplane that best resembles the flying experience you'd have in a real airplane. I love the Realair SF260 in FS9 and assume it's a top contender in FSX too? While my FS9 hangar is filled with GA airplanes, I only have a couple of Carenado's and now also The Duke for FSX! The latter one of course is magnificent but I am looking for something more lo and slo and the Duke definitely isn't slow.... I love Carenado for their looks and feel, but can't say anything about their flight behaviour.I am sitting here with my theory books on flying and read about p-factor, load balancing, how one wing would dip in a yaw because the other wing is moving faster and would prouduce more lift etc. Would I be better of trying all this in X-Plane 9 that I own (and perhaps opening a can of worms with the question)?Sorry if the question is a bit muddy but hopefully someone understands what I am getting at! :D Krister LindénEFMA, Finland------------------

March 2, 201115 yr Author Low and slow you say :smile:http://www.a2asimulations.com/store/index.php?main_page=product_info&products_id=36Thanks Mike, that was a great suggestion! The airplane I will do my training in is the Eurocub which is based on the cub so it's just perfect. I just read a review also which had nothing but praise, so the credit card is coming out. Should be great with TrackIr and ORBX! :D Krister LindénEFMA, Finland------------------

March 2, 201115 yr I'd Definitly pin the A2A accusim cub, and the Sibwings bird dog as the best "stick and rudder" planes out there. As far as a complex ga aircraft, the DA Cheyenne ranks as one of the most realistic in my books. March 2, 201115 yr Never flown a Cheyenne in real life, but I've got a few hours of Navajo time in my logbook, and the DA Cheyenne "feels right." You need the Wings of Power base pack, than you purchase the Accu-sim add-on pack. A2A is doing things with their aircraft in regards to simulating engine performance/maintenance with their Accu-sim releases that bring amazing immersion levels to FSX. Shane Gavin
