Got my 737-NGX Chief Pilot's Flight Manual Set today. Some 6 kg's of reading. They have a very real Boeing look. Not at all like some sim manuals I've seen earlier.Some good reading while waiting for the roll-out. :(

That's because they are the real Boeing manuals and not for any sim.If I recall, the only thing PMDG removed was the information about cockpit security doors, and things of that nature which is quite understandable. I've found it fascinating to learn about all this little stuff (like which vents do what in the cabin, or the correct operation of doors etc) even though it will be of no use with the NGX

Why are they so darn expensive?! :( how do you afford that?! lolSo when the NGX comes out... can i print my own pages... laminate them and sell them for 150 dollars a pop? :))Even though im going Ifly right now because the box version wont release this year.

Congradulations Peter!I got mine in December. I've been going through the systems Vol. 2 and about 2/3 through it now. LOTS of INPUT!! :(

You could do that, but im sure you can afford the legal ramifications that will follow as well!

I got my set on Friday. Slowly working through the FCTM right now, FCOM is up next. They're pretty well done, I'm very pleased with them.-stefan

This isn`t about the manual he got but will the ngx come with a manual that you can download of how to use the ngx? If so can you print it? I wish I could have the chief manual set but look at the darn price! Im on a budget nowJoe Barton

I just purchased the "Flight Training Manual" cost: $49.99US + $18.08 shipping. Thought that wasn't too bad, but now just receved another separate bill from FedEx Canada for another $16.25. I assume this meens that the shipping costs calculated on the PMDG site covers only to the border and then within Canada i'm on my own. Something i think i should have been made aware of before purchase. I have sent a ticket on PMDG support for clarification, but no reply yet.

What sucks about the shipping cost is they shipped from close enough to drive for me, haha. In fact, I had a friend drive right past the place over the weekend. Had I know, I might have tried something to save the $30 or wahtever it was, since it was right there.-stefan
