April 23, 201115 yr As someone who has been a customer of PMDG's since they released their first 737, I have become resigned to the fact that they do not release products as quickly as I would like BUT when they do release them they are absolutely amazing. Just try to keep that in mind.Your comment is right on Alex, it is absolutely amazing. Now that I have spent some time with it, it is continuing to blow me away. But I may be a bit biased. :( Do you have a specific question? :( George Morris

April 23, 201115 yr What's your favorite aspect/feature of the NGX you've experienced so far?So far, the level of systems fidelity. I have been studying the manuals for sometime now and the depth of the systems is amazing! I was doing a flight in Tucson, shut down the packs for start, took some extra time because I was following checklist and testing and noticed the temp in the cabin was going up. I was waiting for the intercom chime to go off and have to listen to the complaints. :( George Morris

April 23, 201115 yr Author Michal I was hired by Mesa Airlines in November, 1999 at the ripe old age of 20. I turned 21 while in ground school. I started as a new first officer on the Dash 8-200 based at Phoenix Sky Harbor. I then took a position in the training department teaching systems on the ERJ-145 when we bought the airplanes in 2000. I taught in PHX and commuted to DCA to fly the line on weekends and when I didn't have a class to teach. I returned to full time line flying in 2001 in CLT on the 145. I spent 9/11 and the days following in lovely Elmira, NY. After that the chances to upgrade to captain evaporated so I hung out on the 145 until the left seat opened up on the Beechcraft 1900D. I upgraded to captain and earned my ATP in 2002. I flew the 1900D out of Ithaca, NY and Shreveport, LA until 2004 when I transitioned to captain on the CRJ. I was based in Nashville, TN until April 2005. I took a leave of absence that month to join the U.S. Army for three years. In December 2004 one of the captains I flew with as a first officer on the 145 in CLT was killed flying an AH-64 Apache helicopter in Mosul, Iraq. I felt the need to serve my country and earn the right to enjoy this nation I love. So I put away my flight bag and went to war. When I returned from Iraq in September of 2006 I had combat related health conditions that prevent me from holding a medical certificate any longer. FSX isn't just a hobby for me. It's my only connection to the cockpit. I started flying when I was 14 and not being able to do it anymore is not fun. Hiram Hunt
