Kind of amazing how quickly the mood can change around here. Careful George, you're about to turn into the most popular guy on AVSIM.

George, just one question. Is the fuel burn performance modeled differently for the 737-800 in regards to the winglet vs. non-winglet flight model?

or perhaps easter sunday...they have updated on Saturday before:) But they did say they may let it go to beta and then tell us later....I am happy in the fact that we have had some feedback nevertheless from a user either testing it or dreaming it:)) lol:) We won't ask how he has it...Rolling%20Eyes.gif

What's the performance (ie fps) like? Heavier that the MD-11?
Along those lines, I would be interested to know what type of rig he's testing it on, as far as CPU/Clock speed and how it performs on his configuration. I't not really worried about performance on it, but it would be interesting to see how its working for him.Sean Campbell

I have forgot to turn the packs back on in the level d 767 and the temp went up and i got compaints..
But, the temperature in the cabin (on the LD 767) is hard-coded to always rise to something close to 80 degrees F when the packs are off, no matter what the outside temperature might be. You could be sitting on a ramp in Alaska in January, with an OAT of -25 F, and the cabin will still heat up with packs off.I'm willing to bet that the cabin temperature in the NGX will follow the ambient temp. Turn the packs off in Phoenix in summer, and the cabin will get very warm indeed. Turn them off in Nome in winter, and you'll have to worry about ice forming in the potable water tanks...No inside info on that, but knowing PMDG's committment to realism in aircraft and systems behavior - it's logical...Jim Barrett

but he was answering questions about the ngx and he is a beta tester. Where did he get that information from?

Well the point is that one of the betatesters gives us information about the NGX, BUT there is no official statement that the NGX is in Beta. So now it's your turn to build your own opinion about wether it is in beta or not :DIn my (!!!) opinion, they are in beta since a week or something like that and everything works fine until now but it's just a guess (!!!). I don't know anything more than you.Have a nice weekend ;)
