Im sorry - my apologies... I just have been laughing my heart out because there was a post JUST like this last year with VERY similar comments "im sooo excited" and all that... just saying... the only advise I can give to those who are soo excited: buy CS B52, or Simchecks A300, or anything else, and stay away from the forum for a few weeks and be surprised when you come back. No need for broken hearts when the bad news comes out that something went wrong in beta. I am a pessimist i know, but it is a rather simple strategy if you haven't already figured it out; expect the worst so when the best comes your happier! :)) example: i know that my speakers arnet going to cost 100 dollars, but i assume so... they turn out to be 60 dollars... yay! - gettin' it now? not that im telling you to expect the worst, by all means, this will blow FSimmers out of this universe... just calm down about updates and stuff and lets go flying while we wait! :) I wrote the post above signifying that : "whats the point of asking for an update when you basiclly know whats going on... i mean really there doesnt need to be 24/7 coverage of the project. she shall be ready when she is ready.Ehem* excuse me, i forgot to add... This is a good post - there's a TON of very good games and FS addons that have come out recently. Go play Portal 2 on Steam, go learn DCS A-10C, get the Real Air Turbine Duke or go explore the Orbx PNW regions with a bush plane. There's a ton of things to do right now other than complaining about our development process.

It's not possible to give totally accurate performance figures right now because we're still in development mode, running debug gauges etc. It's very flyable though - we have a ton of optimizations we came up with since this was a ground-up rebuild of our whole infrastructure. I don't think anyone who can run the MD-11 will have issues - obviously, a good system is always best though.

I didn't think about this until you said it. Perhaps that is why my question about the 2D panel was unanswered and maybe that's why we haven't been shown a single picture of the 2D panel. Fair enough.

Would you please do not make comparason between PMDG and iFly? PMDG surely knows their marketing strategies, there is no need to threat them. Personally, I don't think any PMDG supporter will even spend their time looking at something called iFly! Sorry for being aggressive on this point but I think this kind of comparison should not be here anymore.. If you want to buy iFly, just go ahead!

From what i've seen and heard of both aircraft so far, you won't go far wrong either way. Just personal preference i guess.

Umh... I guess we'll have to expect the iFly 737 NG for FSX first.... well you're right, let's get back to the King Air for bush flying.... Greg

Do you realize they are not making money on this plane until it is released and I am sure they would like to get it out on the market as soon as they can. Sure they said it would be out in 2010 but obviously some of the stuff they did with this plane took longer than expected, be patient and we will get a excellent 737. Some of you A holes are acting like PMDG owes you something, if you paid for the plane already I could understand but you did not so stop whining and go do something productive with your lives.

Ryan hope all is well... You have the toughest job in the Flight Sim world... PMDG keep up the great work and take as long as you need...!
