I'm near the flight path where commercial aircraft fly to Archerfield (as a waypoint) to fly into YBBN when runway 01 is active. I can sometimes see some interesting aircraft such as the A340-200 that Strategic leased, or if there's an Indy car race at the Gold Coast, an Atlas Air 747. What kind of traffic flies into Coffs Harbour? Congrats again! Thanks, Kevin L

What kind of traffic flies into Coffs Harbour? Congrats again! Mainly Virgin Australia with their Boeing's and Embraer's, Qantas with their Dash-8's. We do get other traffic occasionally - have seen the RAAF with a C-130, C-17 and F/A-18 Hornet doing touch and go training here. Once I even saw the Prime Minister's B737-7DT do one touch and go. We had an airshow here a couple of years ago - that was cool. I'm looking forward to taking Lucas to Avalon when he's older (he's only 11 months old now). Matthew Bellette
