May 22, 201115 yr A nice option that is available in other addons is the possibility to remove the pilot seat in VC view via the FMS... that allow a better access to radio panels since it is often complicated to access some switches due to harmrest position etc. Will that option will be implemented in the NGX ?Thank you;Greg
May 22, 201115 yr In PMDG aircrafts, you can fold the armrests and move the seats to improve visibility. Remove the seat would be... well... unrealistic, and that's not what PMDG likes. Matheus Mafra

December 13, 201114 yr Hello,I have 3 monitors using Eyefinity and unless you change the Wideview parameter in the FSX.CFG file, you cannot zoom out enough to have a realistic view. You are basically with your nose up to the panels. You cannot zoom beyond 0.3 it seems.When you modify the Wideview parameter, the panels are at the correct distance but the view is very distorted at the sides. For instance the EFIS panel on the right has elongated knobs.So if I could remove the seat [like I can in the Ariane 737] then I can zoom my viewpoint a little bit further without the seat obscuring everything].I am using EZDOK.Thanks a lot,Edgard
December 13, 201114 yr I currently have my triple screen setup disabled, but I know what you mean. I've yet to try it with the NGX, but had issues with every aircraft. First of all, triple screening I found the best sweet spot to not have "Wideview" mode active in the cfg. Normal, zoomed all the way out was perfect. I have a thread somewhere in the MD11 area with several screenshots. Non-triple head users would argue that just can't work, but it does and works the best. In a normal one screen setup, hell no, but it gives you the POV you want and is the best you'll get. I've used my triple setup for years now and it works great in any payware and all the defaults this way. The only issue was with the 2D pop ups that was recently fixed here.Triple screening is great, but no one can understand your FOV and POV until they have it. FSX and all addons is at least one thing that doesn't need to be hacked, load it and go practically. Now, games like Assasins Creed, BF1, 2, (maybe 3), F.E.A.R, etc, all need hacking. I'll try and find that post I'm talking about a little later. May 6, 201412 yr To be honest I been flying for over 20 years and I also Enjoy fsx (only if its PMDG) BUT If you are not in the actual cockpit and with all respect to PMDG design they should of left the option in FMC to remove the seat. Once again I only fly PMDG on fsx and what a great job
