More bugs to squash lol... tried an RNAV approach with the IAN annunciations at KABQ and something went wrong at the very end of it. This is why we're still testing guys - you wouldn't want this stuff happening after you bought it.

Integrated Approach Navigation (IAN) -- An enhancement to an approach capability, making the pilot interface and procedures very similar to existing approaches. By allowing a common operational approach procedure, this feature minimizes pilot workload and training, reducing 18 separate approach procedures to one.

I'm just thinking of the old joke. Man go to his doctor, says "Doc, it hurts when I do THIS". And the doctor says "so, don't do that!!"

What is IAN? Best Regards,
Basically computerized ILS guidance, that's the analogy. The localizer and glideslope are generated completely by the FMC - it's similar to the LPV approaches you can fly in GA planes with a WAAS GPS system. (examples of that capability in FS addons would be the Reality XP GNS 430W/530W units or the G1000 in the Flight 1 Mustang)

Possibly tomorrow - I've just been busy with other work and I've been waiting for some of those FMC issues I encountered to get worked out.

Ryan I know EVERYONE has asked this but, when should we expect to see this beauty get rolled out to the Wide team...? 2-3 months?

PMDG 738 is at KSFO for KLAS, I am sure the airport will be full when the 737 gets there. I will be there waiting for the landing.Hopefully all goes well on this test flight. Have a good flight JackWilliam Coade
