Mr. Colwill has just filed EGLL-EGCC as PMDG738.
What a coincidence. I just was about to check something on my PMDG MD11, parked at EGCC. :(

Hi, further to Ryans graphic explanation of an RNP etc., if you can get Just Planes Westjet 737-600 DVD {which is an NGX} there is a Simulator flight to Kelowna in Canada and also a real flight from Vancouver to Kelowna using RNP. I emailed Westjet requesting RNP routes but although they thanked me for my interest, they explained that for legal reasons they could not oblige. richard welsh.
Are you talking about routes or approaches? The routes are the same as everyone else really.JackColwill
LOL.gif you guys are funny or better, really crazy about the NGX when you start stalking Ryan and the Tech Team on Vatsim LOL.gif Haven't had a good lough in a while, thanks :(

best regards,
Alexander Barger

I'm not stalking anybody!!! I just, uh, happened to "be in the area".

So, just out of curosity, what kind of FPS did you get landing at the FSDT LAS in this thing? That scenery is kind of a pig on resources, but I do love it.

The route's are typically the same all the way around...I assume he's talking about the approaches. If you poke your head in some dumpsters around the South end of YYC you may find yourself a RCAP - Restricted Canada Air Pilot...which I believe may have some RNP approaches in it....From Navcanada: "It contains aeronautical information related to the conduct of the arrival or departure portions of flight instrument procedures. These procedures are restricted due to design criteria deviations or are of a proprietary design nature, and require prior Transport Canada approval to be flown. This publication is updated every 56 days."Next cycle is July 14th! Coming up - keep an eye out on those dumpsters!!!Seriously though you may be able to scam an RCAP out of a less big-rig operator...i'm not aware of any legal implications as the data is expired and is clearly marked that way. It is sorta proprietary development wise...but TC/Navcanada aren't afraid of simmers replicating them in FSX...they are more worried about some yahoos trying to fly an RNP approach on some junky Metro with their ol' self-programmed KLN90B and hurting themselves/somebody.It's a public aerospace navigation system...it's not a secret portal in the skies for the privileged to know only...may be different in the States.

It got a little slow but it was more than flyable - that was a visual/handflown approach as well. Crosswind with the HGS. KLAS is particularly bad though because you have the whole Las Vegas Strip and its buildings visible as well as basically the entire airport.Patrick,The problem isn't really having the charts, it's that the charts don't usually tell you how to actually code the approach - the curve stuff is pretty complicated, you have to know exactly what the radius of the arc is and where the center point of the circle the arc comes from is - it's hard to just eyeball that from a chart. The real life navdata that's in the FMC has that info coded into the procedure...

I wouldn't mind pretending my autopilot fails and a program a collision course with Ryan, hehe. See how the ngx handles a plane on a collision course. wait... if I do that the release of the NGX will be delayed and have to wait another 3 years cause they have to make it all over again. Doh!!!

And here's MY first screenshot of the NGX...it's way better than you guys'...just admit it...
Great! Finally a radar pic. First ever. A pity though they did not model the wingview here. it's a shame.

well I downloaded a freeware car and parked it where Ryan landed. I got the car just for that, rather than lots of people stalking him with a cessna. No traffic on highway 101 so I can follow him XD

+1. That was honestly so much fun. I mean I live outside of FS and "I have a life" for those who don't think any of us do, but just watching that was very exciting. To think that, although what I saw was a default UT2 738, was actually Ryan flying the NGX was awesome.Regards

Best regards, happy flying,
