System and Overclocking

Mine also gets the job done. Reversing the fans to pull air into the case a couple of weeks ago made a noticeable change in temps too. Nothing dramatic, but 3c to 4c cooler is still 3c to 4c cooler...

However it should be noted that you should be exhausting what you put in or you can defeat your objective.Big%20Grin.gif

There's a 200mm fan directly above my memory pulling air out the top. There are also 2 120mm fans at the bottom front pulling fresh air in for the video cards & PSU.You can't see it in my avatar, but I've got 2 drafts set up in my case, separated with a piece of lexan.Top: Intake at front & back, exhaust through top.Bottom: Intake @ front, exhaust @ back through video cards & psu

H70 all the way will go right in there you even have that empty fan area you have in the back of the case thats where the radiator with one fan on both sides of the radiator goes there so looks like this would be the choice forget a fan cooler H70 is the best piece of hardware I ever bought for cooling at a very good price and easy to install fyi use the paste thats all ready on it simple, good luck, dont go crazy on the overclock something around 42.2 will be just fine and what a difference but not without that H70 my 6 core runs so cool. :( Rich

I just picked up an H70 and I am very satisfied with it.
I currently have a H50, I'm upgrading to a H70 too in a couple of months.

hi kaman. some say 1 hr is enough, some say use another program like intelburntest. in either case, even if prime does not give errors you may still see some with fsx. it (fsx) just stresses your comp in a different way, depending especially on addons like UT or REX which add more graphics overload to the system, let alone complex airliners like the pmdg range. so go ahead with either prime or intelburntest and let them run for a short (max 1 hr) time. if you are fine then all COULD be ok, then just start fsx and do some nice test flights in different weather/airport/aircraft scenarios and you will see whether you have to further tweak your system.

thanks my friend !What is your vcore?

I heard they're soon going to launch the H80 and H100. The H100 featuring a HUGE radiator, I don't think I could fit one of those inside my case anyway.

Hi Kaman-You shouldn't have any errors with Prim95. While passing a Prime95 test doesn't doesn't guarantee FSX performance, not passing a test is a guarantee that you DO have problems. If that was my machine, I'd run Prime at default clock speeds for at least an hour to verify that your system works as advertised.

Yes, but pulling air in is Cosair's recommended installation.
