The point I was trying to make was that QWERTY was designed in the 1800's to slow down typing speeds so that the old typebars on old typewriters wouldn't jam up. That is no longer an issue today. But you'd then need to have a different keyboard layout for every language that uses the Roman alphabet (hence my rhetorical query about "which language?"), and even that takes no account of left-handers. We at least have a universal standard; it's outdated but it works (note the semicolon :().

June 25, 201114 yr I use the Columbus Typing Method; for each letter, discover and land. In other words, I type very slow. I need a real keyboard. However, the rest of touch screen intrests me.Bob Bob i5, 16 GB ram, GTX 960, FS on SSD, Windows 10 64 bit, home built works anyway.
