July 1, 201114 yr We all worked very hard to make this THE definitive light twin for FSX. I think we did it quite nicely. Thanks go to Ken, Bernt and Bill for their work on this project. Not only is it a really great product but we had fun making it too...And, if I may, we are VERY close to releasing the T-38A Talon Jet trainer. It's made using pretty much the same team with the added bonus of a couple of RW T-38 pilots. This is also at the same level (and surpasses) the C310R in terms of realism... (you can check it out on our website...)Thanks for the compliments. It is the best definitive light twin I have seen for fsx-until a certain other light twin that I saw picts of a little while ago that you guys are doing for the future.... July 1, 201114 yr The milviz 310 is great. I flew 310R (285hp engines)off and on doing forest fire suppresion work for about 1500hrs till 2009. I love the aircraft. I found on a hot day you really had to keep an eye on oil temp and cylinder head temp. I used to climb at about 135kts indicated and 500'/minute and that worked well for keeping temps in the green. If I was being picky my only comment is that it seems a bit fast for the power settings....regardless it's great. The 310 handles like a sports car.
July 1, 201114 yr I love the Milviz 310R,My only complaint is I can't find a hr meter?The real 310R must have one,right? 100%75%50%d8a34be0e82d98b5a45ff4336cd0dddc Patrick
July 1, 201114 yr We did not only all of the VC paint job and most of the modeling (not the hull, that was theirs), we also did a large chunk of the code. CS basically dissed us totally in saying that we did about 5% or something silly like that... It was more like 80% or more... ANYWAY... suffice to say that the T-38A will be a nice addition for anyone with a hankering for learning how to fly jets... (in a more american way!!!)I've found that comment and it indeed doesn't sound too nice. Raised an eyebrow there and hoped for the better or just some cultural related communication difference. I think the whole plane is a good one and modelling and optics form its main advantage. As said, looking forward to see more from you and your (whole) team. That T-38 is on my list. :(
July 1, 201114 yr Moderator I love the Milviz 310R,My only complaint is I can't find a hr meter? The real 310R must have one, right?Oddly enough, no. There's no Hobb's meter in the original a/c at all. Like any older plane though, customer mod's over time means that very few C310's still flying look alike panel wise!I love the Milviz 310R,My only complaint is I can't find a hr meter? The real 310R must have one, right?Oddly enough, no.
