Dash 8 Project

Featured Replies

Good evening guys, with all this talk about the Dash 8 being the next project I was wondering about it. Is the Dash currently in development by a different team that developed the JS41. Or will this project be picked up and started when they wrap up with the NGX? I searched but all the info I could gather seemed like it could be interpreted either way.

I hope it would be a Dash Q400 and not the -300 which has already been done.Michael Pare.

I am actually pretty sure, IIRC, that the Dash 8 will come between the NGX and the T7. And the team that is working on the Dash 8 did a good amount of the JS41... So once the NGX comes out (soon let's hope!), the guys can take MAYBE a night off (Just%20Kidding.gif), and then get work on the T7 with the help of NGX's revolutionary base coding platform, and in the interim, the Dash 8 will come out.

Best regards, happy flying,

Wallace

Ya I think the Dash is in between the 37 and 77.

No Q-400.No 300 done in PMDG quality.

The way I see it is after the NGX, the Dash-8 is up next. The T7 should follow as I remember one of the dev. team guys saying the T7 shares the same engine or something... Not that well-versed in programming jargon.

PMDG has development Schedule, and DASH will release between NGX and 777,if not change...I more concerned about DASH will include failures modelConfused.gifIf not failures i will keep waiting 777.

Majectic Software is doing a Q400 for FSX... And looking at the previews it's shaping out real GOOD.

oh dear!guys, lets revisit this idea POST NGX release.. Everyone is working on the NGX we are told. Tempers and stress are running high at the moment, so I suggest this thread be buried for a while :) :(

Thanks guys, sorry I forgot to sign my name at the bottom, my mistake. I was just wondering if PMDG had multiple teams or worked as one! Thanks for the info.- Frank V.
