August 11, 201114 yr I had a perfectly function NGX yesterday. Flying like a dream. This morning I installed HotFix 1 and now nothing works. Aircraft loads with every warning light illuminated and there it sits. Trouble ticket submitted but no answer from PDMG yet. Any body got any ideas.

I'm personally going to wait until the sp which is supposed to have the updates the hotfix adds, but in a more final, stable version. Alfredo Terrero
August 11, 201114 yr Author uninstalled and reinstalled three times. tried to start it without hot fix and with hotfix installed. same result
August 11, 201114 yr Author Fixed with help from PMDG staff. Basically, uninstalled NGX. Delete PMDG NGX folder and reinstall. Working OK so far, minus the hot fix.

Suppose you installed the Hotfix because freezing your NGX ..... and after this reinstallation minus hot fix, still freezing? If it wans't broke why did you try to fix it?I expect he was following the advice from PMDG that says: This hot-fix is not required unless you experienced freezes but you should install it anyway just for the sake of having the most current version. If you were seeing freezes they should be rare if at all, and if you did not have freezes, the update won't hurt you. I'd have probably done the same but I'm waiting for the initial bugs to be ironed out before I buy. Andy Lawton

August 11, 201114 yr Runnin good here besides the occasional panel freezes where I have to reload the plane.. No hot fix. Waitin for SP =)
