You sure don't miss a chance to make your "guesses" known.

My track record on my "guesses" is not that bad so far...about yours?

The extensive infantilism on display in this thread is a stark reminder on why our access to the devel team was not on offer this cycle. Too bad for us.

So far I haven't seen any of your guesses about functionality, visuals, and usage be anything more than guesses based on information that we don't have. Have any of them been right? We don't know yet because Flight hasn't been released.

You are both zero for about a million, but if you keep guessing long enough you are bound to get one right some day. Even a chimp gets 25% right on a 4 possible answer multiple choice test.

I don't know what you mean by both, but why are you dragging me into this? I'm not the one repeatedly forcing the ideas around that Flight isn't this, it isn't that, Microsoft lied about this, etc. I think we all know who THAT person is. I just say what is obvious from what we already know.

Brandon Filer

If it's obvious from what we know, it doesn't need to be repeated or pointed out, because its obvious.

If the dev team was allowed to post in this forum or keep blogs (like say the XP dev blog) then there would be far less speculation. IMHO the reason they don't do either is because they have something to "hide" from the hardcore community about the direction Flight is taking. Why is there such an extensive blog about Windows 8 by Steven Sinofsky (http://blogs.msdn.com/b/b8/) and yet the Flight team is not allowed to comment? A bit fishy isnt it?

You seem a little intolerant to members of the FS community, the very same people that purchase add-ons from companies such as yours.

Yes they do have something to hide, but not from us, it's from a bloke by the name of Austin. Al

Ok... but I think Flight is more likely to borrow ideas from XP10, it seems far more innovative than Flight. Take this recent blog post for example about how the XP10 architecture allows scenery assets (eg autogen textures/models/runway lights/atc voices etc) to be regionalized http://www.x-plane.c...nd-the-library/

trolling simply means he said something you didnt agree with . so why not say the mature thing....."i dont agree with you", its that easy.
Are you being serious? Rolling%20Eyes.gif I was referring to the comment on AirdailyX's blog, what purpose would it serve to post here that I don't agree with you Anonymous? Look up the definition of troll.

Adults have fun and laugh as well .. not just kids .... we are just having fun with our "insider" info

Neat Windows 8 blog, thanks for the link. Since the flight dev team aren't posting here (and perhaps not reading) and since all of us reading/posting here are aware of your doubts and concerns, have you thought of collecting them and cogently sending them here? [email protected] Maybe they'll address your issues and you might be wiling to report back to us? Just a thought.

Interesting the inconsistencies in thread closures. The thread titled "Flight is not what you are hoping for" was closed because :NDA's appear to have been broken, speculation without fact, etc. Am shutting this down as it does violate our Terms of Use.Yet this thread has been running since the beginning of the month with a very first post claiming:The information apparently comes from a MS insider. That information would definitely be breaking an NDA or CDA signed when working with/for Microsoft, yet this thread is still alive.
