The think I don't like about the Corsair CPU Liquid coolers is the position of the button to switch between different modes...

The thing I don't like about the Corsair all in one water solutions is the noise, and lack of efficiency.

Yes they are a lot more noisy than the Antec solutions too...

Noctua NH-D14 if you want to push it on the aircooling side or get a watercooling system ... Corsair Hydro Series H100 eg for beginners, but wont perform much better than the Noctuabetter are the 'real' watercooling systems but you dont need them if you are ok with 4.2-4.6 ghz, but if you want to go over 5ghz I would recommend a good wc system
I got 5.0 ghz on the 25k with th D-14, 3 months going now, stable, no issues!

Ahh okay guys cheers alright so these two then... what do you think... http://www.ebuyer.co...pper-nh-u9b-se2 and http://www.ebuyer.co...am2-nh-u12p-se2 ? Cheers in advance, much appreciated. :)
Thta's not the NH-D14 though. It's your decision, but I would check the dimensions of your case to see if the D14 will fit. I would also check the dimensions of the Silver arrow, it cools slightly better, is quiet, and [iIRC] doesn't have any issues with memory. Dimensions are half way down. http://www.noctua.at...id=34&lng=en#13 Silver Arrow... http://www.thermalri...cat_id=27&id=96 look at the reviews on the net, and at Youtube reviews.

If the Noctua is too large, heavy, or blocks memory slots, I would highly recommend the Venomous X. I used it with my i7 920 @ 4.2 Ghz, and now with my i7 2600K @ 5.0 Ghz and it has kept both of them very cool. The Venomous X in the few tests I have checked out was within a a couple degrees or so of the Noctua.

Everyone is shouting Noctua. I beg to differ. Like a few others above, all of the Corsair H series coolers are better suited cooling solutions, provided the case can mount the radiator and fan (most can). The Corsairs are at the same price point and out perform the Noctua. H50/60/70/80/100 are all great solutions. Also, without a huge heat sink in the middle of my case, case temps are excellent and working around the case is easy. PS. The Corsair looks way better.

What? The evidence is overwhelming. Noctua consistently outperforms Corsair. Just take a look at the reviews and performance tests. Suggest Overclocker.net, and go from there. The NH-D14 beats the H70. (
) See a good discussion comparing the Corsair H100 to the NH-D14. http://208.65.201.10...d.php?t=2181357 EDIT: This is interesting 5GHzNT-H1Comparisons.png

Hey Trevor! I fail to see how that is "overwhelming". I can say without a doubt that after a few installations, my i7 960 was running 4 degrees cooler in my CM690 II case with the Corsair H50 as opposed to the NH14. With the fan mod I have, I lost another 2C.

I love my Corsair H70. I built 3 systems, 2 with Corsair and one with a beQuiet air cooler, they all run at the same temp, overclock the same etc. SB CPU's are mostly limited by the voltage they can achieve, nearly all good coolers will do the job and keep the CPU temps well within limits. The Corsair looks good, the rad is out the way, the area around the CPU is nice and clean. I really can't stand the biggest component in my PC being a heat sink with a big fan clamped on the side, just my opinion.

I've got 2 2500K systems both overclocked to 4.8 and still cool. I went cheap with both coolers (both were under $25), one the Corsair A50 and the other is a Coolermaster Hyper 212 Plus and I can't complain with either of them. Temps never get very high at all, I don't think I've ever seen 70degrees C on either of them.

Time and time again, other cooling options represent the "pay more, get less" proposition when compared to Noctua. It landed in the first spot in every test against the H80 in the OverclockersClub review of the H80. http://www.overclockersclub.com/reviews/corsair_hydro_h80/4.htm
