LOL, the limitations of that sim are a joke!

Got news for you: the FAA approved simulator at our airport runs FS2002. Don't let that mislead you into thinking that either 2002 is better than it is, or that the FAA knows what it's doing when it comes to approving simulators.

Agreed Howard. A perfectly reasonable question albeit posted in the wrong forum, two crass and supercilious remarks about his choice of sim and avatar and that I fear will be the last we see of him.

Welcome Eures. What packages have you tried? I use FS2004 and was just updating my WOAI AI installs. There is a forum at http://www.world-of-ai.com that might be able to help.Describe what you are not seeing.Jim

That "old tractor" (a steam tractor or traction engine) cost way more these days than any new tractor, and 99.99% of the world wouldn't know how to operate it.If your comparision held true, I would be honored to run FS2002. And I actually do, on my daughter's laptop computer; where it's footprint is small, and it runs very smoothly, and looks good with converted FS2004 aircraft.James Hefner (http://www.survivingworldsteam.org)

Even if the graphics and whatnot aren't so great, I still like FS2004, for it's contribution to aircraft history. Sure FSX may have issues, but it's not all bad.I'm pretty sure the OP will upgrade, when the opportunity is right for him/her.

I once read that the hardest part about getting FAA approval is filling out the paperwork.
