Colts - grow up. If you don't like it, then don't fly it.

Hey my first post was only airing some of my experiences with XP 10...i didn't know if i would like it until i flew it!.....i already said i deleted the demo!........now am just offering some of my findings if that's ok with you!...am sure feedback is important with any demo..if i cant post them at avsim then avsim and its users have a problem not me!...am not here to upset anyone, if users here wish to ridicule my comments and graphics card whilst others wish to brag about their performance using the same card that's their choice i dont mind or get upset!... but don't turn this around....am only giving my opinions...if YOU don't wish to hear them then DON'T READ these forums!.... In my experience I have found the VAST majority of XP users can be quite averting and dogmatic when it comes to FSX v XP discussions!...its all a bit depressing tbh but also inevitable. Anyway many FSX users genuinely wish to embrace a new, better sim than FSX, ONE with real 3d clouds and true VTOL amongst other things for me.......am sure the cancellation of FS11 was a big disappointment for a lot of simmers, so many eyes where then re-focused on the Hyped up promises of XP10 as was I...my experiences here are genuine and not intended to insult or upset...BUT yes try explaining anything negative to an XP user and they soon start slapping their handbags around willy nilly like flustered old women!... Leen3131c...i have a feeling thats something to do with your flying skills rather than faults in the Sim! :( Whahahahaha!!!! to you too!Anyway like i said its a shame XP 10 is another let down for the majority of FSX users and the loss of a lucrative huge potential market for Austin!..if Austin had got his act together and delivered on his Overly enthusiastic promises, then he could have converted an awful lot of FSX users!.. which in turn would of resulted in all the major ADDON scenery and payware aircraft developers creating and concentrating their energies on XP....so until all that happens (and i hope it does one day!) i will stick to my beloved and faithful FSX, ORBX, REX, PMDG, AEROSOFT,CAPT SIM, etc etc etc.....good day gentleman...

Just made a night-flight in the Carenado f33. Followed a highway randomly towards a small airport up ahead. REALLY like the night visuals. I think it's spot on.However. The turbulence was driving me crazy. I had to constantly fight it. This with turbulence set to zero and with very low wind speeds. Surely this can´t be right, can it?

So I see your an FSX zombified zealot ?If anything FSX looks cartoonish, even with most ADD-ONS. At least XPX has transmission lines, bridges, trains, stop signs, etc....How much money have you spent trying to make FSX look realistic ??

I was ###### when fsx haters flamed this forum for many years while i was trying to enjoy the sim. The same happens again. It's a pitty that some try to prove or convince others what is right or wrong, better or worse. don't say you wanted this to be a success, you guys have no respect. Not for me who wants to enjoy the sim nor for the developers. I am sure you will successfully drive them out of this forum - as you already managed with the MS devs long ago...

HelloVery nice, but how long for all of the XPX world ?Good luck with your endeavours but I won't hold my breath. It is more than just the missing buildings though.It is the total lack of seasons, the barren grid like urban areas, the really badly drawn coastlines with the same unrealistic dark water everywhere, the frankly crazy direction that Austin is taking with the Ai system.The list just growsl.Lets be honest here it looks poor and lacks many features,there is just too much needed in this version to make it a complete platform.I will look again when XP11 comes round, but the biggest challenge you guys face is Austins bad decision making in the direction he is taking XplaneLets face it, XPX does look a bit unfinished.

Yes!....whats your problem with that?......and why do u need to repeat my whole post parrot fashion?...here lets clarify....Zombified 1.Is the state of being stimulated in an unconscious state to your actual state of being; being under the influence of psychotropic prescription drugs, music, sex, alcohol, with the effect of not being connected to reality.zealotan immoderate, fanatical, or extremely zealous adherent to a cause, esp a religious oneCombine these two together and i would in my experience say that describes ANY xplane fan!.....we FSX users would love xplane to blow FSX out of the water or FS9 even for that matter..(one reason WE ALWAYS try out new incarnations of Xplane!)......but it doesn't!.......like any games review you can ALWAYS expect negative feedback along with the positive...after all whats the point of just waffling like old women about the good aspects?...if no one ever brought the negative issues to light then no advancement/corrections would ever be made in ANY simulation or anything at all for that matter!...its inevitable to hear criticism.....we are not out to spoil anyone's day..we are all only trying to compare and share our experiences as flightsimmers...but why cant xplane fans stand any negative feedback or prefer to brush it under the rug?...for those daft xplane fans who cant handle any sort of criticism of xplane OR Austin then like i said don't read these forums!....

Ok agreed i apologise if i have offended anyone....i think the whole thread was a bit titt for tat from the 1st page before i even entered the arena..(as is normally the way with FSX v XP threads)...its human nature i suppose to defend your tribe or team or in this case your chosen sim!......but i agree with the Admin, arguing ones points in such a belligerent manner which may offend or sound arrogant to others is not conducive or helpful for the good of the thread or subject matter!...i fear my keyboard fingers may have got the better of me and for that i apologise to anyone i may have annoyed or upset.On a lighter note happy new year to Avisim and all simmers everywhere!...lets raise a glass to it and great sims like FS9,FSX, and XP9 AND 10 or whatever other sim you prefer and love....... :(
