December 17, 201114 yr hey guys whast some of the best freeware addons in your opinions? individual sceneries or complete world sceneries/mesh etc?
December 17, 201114 yr Nate, don't take this the wrong way, but you need to learn to use the search feature here. There are a couple of great posts that'll answer all your questions on scenery (perhaps they should've been pinned to the top?). I'm not trying to be awkward, there's just no point in people repeating the same advice over and over. If I had the time to do the search for you I would, but I don't. No offence intended.Edit: What the hell, the Mrs is still sleeping so here, using the search feature brings you this thread: http://forum.avsim.net/topic/297033-the-best-fs9-freeware-airports/page__hl__best%20fs9%20scenery Gavin Barbara Over 10 years here and AVSIM is still my favourite FS site :-)
December 17, 201114 yr Depends where you want to fly, just download what you want from the library and try it, that's basically what we all do.Echofox
December 17, 201114 yr For me Napulevola LIRN. i.e. Naples Capodichino. The airport is probably the best there is. And, the surrounding scenery with an excellent rendition of Mt. Vesuvius, which apparently can also be made to errupt (though I haven't succeeded in that yet).http://library.avsim...=root&Go=Searchvololiberista Super VC10 into LOWI with PF3 at a cinema near you https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=298UDyNmgUA

December 17, 201114 yr Hello.Best scenery is the user itself to choose and decide. Here is a good link to start with.http://www.freewares...com/fs2004.htmlAlll free, and what I have seen, very good.Have fun.Lars Peter.
December 18, 201114 yr What ?Yes, that's what I thought as well when I read it! There are so many freeware add-ons in the Avsim library that to do a thorough search would take hours. I remember when I first purchased FS9 and starting adding scenery and aircraft I was downloading so much that I just couldn't keep up and in my 'young and single' days many a time I was awake until the early hours of the morning installing add-ons and I am sure many other simmers still do that now (please tell me it's not just me?!). Windows 7 Home Premium 64 bit. Packard Bell imedia S3210. AMD Athlon II X 3 425 Processor 2.70 GHz. 3 GB RAM. External hard drive 1TB. FS9.1, Ground Environment, Ultimate Terrain Europe, REX, Zinertek's Ultimate Water Advanced & Ultimate Night Environment 2010, WOAI, MAIW, AES, ODG Project.
