JB is my name as far as the world wide public is concerned, that is, unless you get invited over to my place to meet my wonderful family and have a few Burgers from the BBQ, (which is very possible :( ) then we can get on a first name basis. I have been frequenting these forums since PMDG made their first addon for "Fly", so do me a favor and don't bust my balls about my sig. Secondly, I am not rude nor condescending to people here and I treat everyone with respect. Thirdly, I don't subscribe to free software that should be paid for, so I am an avid supporter of the devlopers who spend their hard earned time trying to make a living giving us quality addons. And Fourth, IMHO the internet is becoming less and less secure nowadays and I prefer to not put my name on a public forum able to be viewed by the entire world. With all that being said, I appreciate your reply to my request for help regarding the Frames Limiter in NVidea Inspector.I will give drive sweeper a try and see if I can get the Frames Limiter Working.JB

I'm really looking foreward to (crosses fingers) Multicrew from PMDG and the Tack Pack from VRS. Maybe we can fly a leg for the VA in the pit of the NGX and in the same day shoot each other down.. :)And Happy New Year my freind.JB

Definately...am looking forward to both. The new system is a major improvement over my Q9550 system, and with this new driver and NI fps limiter...seems perfect. I've set up NI according to Ryan's advice in his sticky and AA is at 8xSQ.

I'm still running the Q9650 at 4.05. Lately the system seems like it's possessed. Everything that worked well before, doesn't work that well now. I have done a few clean installs and the works. But I think I can get another few months outa it before it catches on fire. When that time comes, it will be a good excuse to upgrade. Bouncing around the I5, or I7 and also trying to figure out what MB to get. For the time being, I wanna hopefully get this Frame Limiter working and then maybe I can get even more leased time outa it.Sendin ya a PM. Maybe a flight today?JB

Unfortunately uninstalling drivers, booting to safemode, cleaning all drivers with drivesweeper and then reinstalling the latest beta driver did nothing to help. I can see the framelimiter line in NI but it makes no impact in FSX...Ohh well..Here's my specs so maybe someone can see something I don'tQ9650 @ 4.05MSI Twin FrozerII GTX560Ti w/ 1gig8 gigs of gskill ddr2 at 1080Winxp64bit290.53 driver and latest NIJB

Richard try to uninstall all your Nvidia drivers exept the Video Driver and Update if you are not using the video and 3D function on your Nvidia Graphics Card. It should help in your frame rate by 3-5 fps.Also fixed my video problem using Skype by installing their 5.7 Beta Driver.

Also make sure when you use Nvidia Inspector to change the following:Under AntialasingAntialasing Behavor Flags NoneAntialasing Mode Override any application settingAntialasing Setting 8xS Combined 1x2 SS+ 4x MSUnder Texture FilteringAnisotropic filtering mode User defined / OffAnisotropic filtering setting 16xTexture filtering -Negative LOD bias ClampTexture filtering - Quality High qualityCommonPower management mode Prefer maximum performanceFrame Rate Limiter 30The rest are all @ defaultNow make sure you Apply changes top right corner in Inspector

None of your one,two,thirdly matters. It's a rule. If I have to abide by it, then so should you. Fifthly, it's common courtesy on a legitimate forum. I don't care how long you've been here. It's not about busting balls, it's about keeping your posts visible. They WILL delete your unsigned posts. You obviously have a lot to contribute.

On my iPhone so not sure of the line names, but make sure the antialiasing flags are set to none and that application aa settings is set to overide application settings. If you have already done that, then have a look at Tabs post to give more specifics. Hope that helpsJB
