NVIDIA fps limiter

Featured Replies

Nvidia GeForce 290.53 Driver is required for you to have this option available. Which is in beta.

Hi Bob, requirements:GeForce 290.53 Beta from NVIDIA SiteNvidia Inspector 1.9.5.7.And the fps should be there.Your NV Inspector settings are a bit different from mine...i don´t know why. It´s weird.Best.Miquel Egea.

Bobw737, you are not alone in missing this setting from nVidia Inspector. Mine is missing that setting too despite having v1.9.5.7 and GeForce 290.53 Beta... maybe it's hardware related? I have an MSI 560GTX-Ti.

Just tested it out myself and I'll be updating my driver config post to include this shortly - works fine as far as I can tell. This is great that we don't have to use external hacks anymore for this - should improve stability!

Looks like you are missing some elements.Did you do a "Custom" install .. or did you let Nvidia installer do everything (Express) ?

Maybe someone can help me.I have driver 290.53 with a 560TiI have NI 1957I can see the frame rate limiter line in NIBut when I apply the settings for the FPS limiter in NI to the MS FSX profile, apply the settings, close NI and launch FSX, my frames are still unlimited. Not to mention I enabled the PHYSX notifier and I don't see it. Maybe NI is not applying the profile at all?JB

I am finding this driver is the best I have ever seen very nice, image quality is super, you may want to try it dont forget to use a good driver cleaner like driver cleaner.net payware but its awesome.

I am seeing the same. When I check the FPS in FSX it is not locking @ 30 as I have it set in the Inspector but..... it is very smoothe.Jim
