NVIDIA fps limiter

Featured Replies

Looks like you are missing some elements.Did you do a "Custom" install .. or did you let Nvidia installer do everything (Express) ?
Hi VaughanAllowed Nvidia to install both the new beta driver (290.53) and the Nvidia Inspector 1.9.5.7 over previous versions. I never remove any files first, I go with what Nvidia say and just install over existing files. I have a Geforce 560 Ti G/Card.However, in FSX, I have smoother and higher fps and the picture quality has improved and is noticeably crisper.Bob

Bob,I have a GTX550Ti .I have frame limiter option in the inspector version 1.9.5.7.I set FS9 and FSX to 29 as a test in the Inspector frame limiter dropdown selections.I set fs9 and FSX to unlimited. When I run FS9 and FSX get 29FPS (but I still see the word "unlimited" next to the 29 .. because that is what MSFS was set to, by me).I have a screenshot .. do you have this also?

Yes it happens when using an external limiter,FSX Doesn't know what is limiting it. It just knows that for some reason it can't get past 29FPS,Sense out of nonsenseI set mine to 45?

Didn;t like it,FPS lower and jumpy, got to 45fps, doesn't really do the job

It works very nicely. One observation i have though, it seems to show a slightly bigger hit from the FSX mouse pointer thing. Not a big problem because i just bury it at the top of the screen.
