What deal are they talking about here?

Featured Replies

I just got an email from the new PMDG newsletter. It says that they're having a deal for the 600/700. I may get it, but just wondering, I clicked on the link and it's the same price, $24.99. What changed here? Thanks. :smile:BTW, the address that PMDG put at the bottom of the email (200 Los Arboles Ln, Sparks, Nevada) leads to a dessert... Please don't tell me that PMDG is headquarted underground. LOL.gif

I got that too. I think they may be talking about the increase of price. Like the 800/900 is 69.99 but I think its planned to go to 74.99 although they said that after a month of release that would happen.

well its supposed to be 29.99, at least thats what shop tells me.

The 6-700 expansion pack is going up to 29.99 from 24.99.

Have you ever been to Sparks, Neveda? It IS a destert!!! That particular address belongs to a Banded Gila Monster by the name of Herb. He's drinking buddies with Rob. Herb is actually a pretty nice guy... just don't share avacado dip with him (hint; he and his kin are the only poisonous lizards in North America). I am sure you will agree... Rob keeps some pretty wierd company!

Herb, the Banded Gila Monster

EDIT: forgot to add... That address is shown so that if any irate simmers want to get up front and personal, they will have to deal with Herb first. LOL.gif

I got the same email even though I already have the 6/700. Darn, I thought it might be the SDK or the Tutorial #2 or the 777 or an upgraded 747 or the secret project. That's the first "out of the blue" email I have received from PMDG. Pretty professional. Keep em coming.

Gents-(And Tom... him too! Angel.gif )Tonight we sent out an email letting our NGX customers know that SP1b is out- and they should update. Additionally we mention in the email that the promotional pricing period for the NGX is about to expire.... (For those who forgot- we initially put the NGX and the 6700 on the market at a slightly reduced price as a thank-you for putting up with our very long-winded development period... We are about to return to standard pricing on both products- so jump in now or forever hold your peace!)If you are waiting for PMDG to run a sale in order to purchase- you might want to go ahead and buy now. This is as close as we ever get to a sale... (Someone once joked with me in email that you'll never see a sale at Bentley, Tiffany & Co. or PMDG....)

Thank you Robert for the official information! Like Dennis said, keep those emails coming! It's MUCH better to see a PMDG newsletter than 20 Amazon ads.

Yeahm... Anyway, more interesting thing about this PMDG e-mail was the hint to start preparing for the 777... :(
