Well like it said you can download more regions, but I dont know if that means just some small areas, I doubt that they put whole world outside Hawaii up for download D: I assume that you can just download some pretty small areas outside Hawaii, and anyway I am not going to pay for different regions.Anyways I was right. Its Hawaii only by default. Also note one of the pictures with pilot profile customization. I knew that Flight will be kind of arcade game. :(

Well this is disappointing to say the least... it smells of a DLC money grab by MS :( Does look good though.

Very disappointed :(.I have purchased every MS Flight Simulator from version 1.0 onwards. I will be giving this one a miss.

Must of us new it, but many just did not want to admit it.The (10gig disk requirement) speculation, is true after all.Back to XPX!!

Well yeah thats true. But at least I was right

Well, unless the the addon develpers can add some life into xplanes plausable (Boring) world, Prepar3d looks to be the way fwd for platform improvements. Hoping the DX11 update will have some great improvements. MS Flight unfortunately wont see the light of day on this computer.

Why not? It's free! I'm definitely giving it a try.

Although its free, Im not a tourist.

Well, FSX has a MUCH LONGER LEASE ON LIFE NOW.DEVELOPERS HAVE A MORE STABLE PLATFORM TO BUILD FOR.It's all about how you look at it.

Yeah, this may extend life of FSX till devs start moving to X plane 10 even more than now.

I really don't understand why people are so disappointed. Nowhere in the press release do they say that Flight is Hawaii only. What they DO say is that you can download Flight for free, but it will only initially include Hawaii. Please explain why this is such a bad thing. For, what they are basically saying, is this:"come download the huge FREE demo, and when you like what you are seeing, you can buy whatever extra regions you like"You can download it for free and check it out, see what it looks like, see how it performs on your computer, and what its possibilities are. WHY is this a bad thing? Then, when you decide you like it, you can slowly expand your simming world. Instead of shelling out a sum of money for a sim of which the majority you won't look at anyway, you can now pick and buy exactly the pieces that interest you.For me the main point is still how quickly existing FSX addons can be ported over to Flight. I will not be fully wanting to move to Flight if my favorite addons are unavailable. I will however download Flight and fly around Hawaii, see what it looks and performs like.
