January 5, 201214 yr After importing a flight plan and hitting "Process," the dialog appears to install weather influenced graphics or a Snapshot. I always select weather-influenced and then hit the "install" button. Sometimes when I do this nothing happens. I'm used to seeing the installation progress window appear, but sometimes it doesn't.If I repeat my steps (without restarting AS2012), i.e., import the same flight plan, hit "Process", then hit the "Install" button for weather-influenced graphics, the installation progress window always then appears. Is there something I'm missing here? If I click "Install," shouldn't the install progress window always appear? Thanks. - Jev McKee, AVSIM member since 2006. January 5, 201214 yr Hi Guys,Having had similar problems I find that if I take a small pause after the screen appears I have not failed to initiate an install at the first time of asking.Being too fast on the mouse button does cause problems! Norman Bowman
January 5, 201214 yr Moderator Not saying this is the case here but you might also find that the dialog is behind the main window due to rapid mousing.Vic RIG#1 - I9 14900K MSI Pro z790 RTX 5070Ti 40" 4K Monitor 3840x2160

January 7, 201214 yr Commercial Member Hi all,For those experiencing this failure of install to occur on initial press.... can you confirm that "waiting" 10 seconds before pressing OK eliminates this behavior? We are having trouble duplicating this issue, but we believe it may be timing related. Thanks! Damian ClarkHiFi Simulation Technologies
January 7, 201214 yr Hello Damian,Yes I confirm if I wait 10 seconds before pressing OK the loading of the theme begins normally.BR Best RegardsMarc ManandiseWindows 10 PRO
January 7, 201214 yr Author I can confirm that this is not an issue of the Install progress window disappearing behind other windows.Waiting 10 seconds before clicking "OK" does eliminate the problem. - Jev McKee, AVSIM member since 2006. January 11, 201214 yr Is this issue resolved in the next update, or do we have to use AS2012 with a stopwatch now? :(
