January 30, 201214 yr Diego, don't get too serious... it's a game after all. Bert was just joking.BTW if you want to get serious I will have to report you to FAA since you declared a visual approach. As per FARs:5-4-22. Visual Approacha. A visual approach is conducted on an IFR flight plan and authorizes a pilot to proceed visually and clear of clouds to the airport. The pilot must have either the airport or the preceding identified aircraft in sight. It doesn't seem you had the airport in sight at all! :Thinking:Cheers.AlbertoPffff. Spcial VFR is the name of the game in SE Alaska. Of course most 121 operators don't do Special VFR. Maybe it was a Part 91 ferry flight. But, I don't think the OP cares about that stuff. Matt Cee
January 30, 201214 yr sweet landing man! even if that is a rare approach, or one that is never allowed, that is the beauty of FSX - great work. Im going to go home and try that Max PMDG 747X & 737NGX Pilot
January 30, 201214 yr I like the Juneau approaches. I flew there a long time in FS9 when "Glacier Bay" was released. Cause of the lack of a decent scenery I flew there only once in FSX. A flight with the NGX from Victoria and I landed like you on RWY 26. Best regards, Steffen Fight time: NGX 737-700: 37,0h; -800: 47,2h
January 30, 201214 yr a few config modifications to look more like an Alaska 737, and then you'll be rockin! :) Have fun.Spin737, I think you mentioned at some point putting together a list of Alaska's config options. Any chance of getting that? Jon Skiffington

January 30, 201214 yr Spin737, I think you mentioned at some point putting together a list of Alaska's config options. Any chance of getting that?I was waiting for some info from Ryan, but I haven't heard back.I can tell you that in the vid, the ND shouldn't have the range rings and the Engine Display should be the compact kind. No AOA on the PFD. No clock/ptt on the glareshield. No ISFD.Oh, and the skies should be less Martian and more Earth. Matt Cee
January 31, 201214 yr What does Brazil have to do with anything?!?!Maybe you should think about what he was refering to lol, i got it the first time and i dont live in brazil. Since cars are suppose to drive on the right hand side of the road and the reference was driving on the left hand side, by bert in the previous post above. January 31, 201214 yr Are the RNP approach cahrts available somewhere? The AS RNP approachs are not available for public access unfortunately. They're proprietary Alaska Airlines information as Alaska built them and gain FAA certification for them. Employees can access the charts if they have access to the flt ops site. Ryan Syferd (KSEA)

January 31, 201214 yr Several -890s now have the ISFD,, as well as all new deliveries if im not mistaken. Unless my list has been superseded, that tail number doesn't have ISFD. Matt Cee
January 31, 201214 yr Oh ok. I was thinking from an overall fleet standpoint. Yes, that tail is non-ISFD. Sorry.. Ryan Syferd (KSEA)
