I'll echo the sentiment of the one poster - what's wrong with the Eaglesoft one? I have a very hard time believing that they don't have access to an Aztec or Navajo, both of which have appeared on the wish list many times over. Strange. I'm afraid this is one I will pass on, but I'm sure others who don't have the Eaglesoft version will be at least moderately interested.

I think for those who got bad fps with the other version which is very dated now or would like a good quality HD interior this is very welcome news. I'd rather they did something else too and have only limited interest in glass cockpits but I feel like I should have one good example and this could be it.

I wonder if they will model a working CAPS (Cirrus Aircraft Parachute System) for SR22?

Most likely will be a G1000, and hopefully will bear a resemblance to the perspective...since Avidyne is no longer a supplier to Cirrus in new aircraft deliveries. The G1000 Perspective is an outstanding avionics suite.

This is awesome....... I am tired of waiting for eaglesoft to finish there perspective...This is on my top 5 list. as long as it is the turbo model.....

Something tells me that Carenado is not modeling the Turbo...Thats would be a huge upset and I prob would not purchase it... i will have to keep flying the outdated ES version.....sad!No point unless its the turbo.

Has anyone heard of a release date yet?

My guess would be sometime in late June early July. The 182T seems to be the G1000 guinnea pig. I hope they make the G1000 as fully functional as possible. I have flown an SR22 a few times, that side stick takes some getting used to. Doesn't feel right to me. At least I can fly it with a yoke on the sim.
