February 22, 201214 yr Nope. I use Splashtop XDisplay. Can do pretty much the same thing and is cheaper, and is dead easy to use. No issues whatsoever. February 22, 201214 yr Start Air Display after FS is already running otherwise FS gives an error saying your graphics card is not supported. Cheers, Andy.
February 22, 201214 yr Author Tom - I did try SplashTop but could only display an exact image of the PC, not another window. I must be missing something.Andy - I tried starting AirDisplay after FSX was running. I did not get an error but I could not get anything displaying on the iPad other than the Desktop background without all the icons. If I tried to drag another window from FSX only the curser showed.I'll start experimenting with both of these. I'm sure there is a solution to both of these issues.Thanks!!
February 22, 201214 yr Position the window so that a couple of pixels are left on your desktop screen and the rest of it is on your iPad and it should work fine, well almost fine I found AirDisplay less than ideal so ended up just buying a 22" touch screen monitor instead, lol.Just a corner of the window left on the main monitor is enough, like shown in the picture below. February 22, 201214 yr Bought Splashtop XDisplay today its works easy and I now use it with PMDG 737 having the FMC on my ipad is perfect but you can move any pop you like onto it just right click on them first and un-dock before moving. February 25, 201214 yr I have looked into air display before but it seems that the sim must be in window mode in order to work. This kills it for me. Mike Keigley

I only use full screen but it would be nice to have the RXP GPS 2d popup on the ipad. July 28, 201213 yr +1 - for Splashtop Xdisplay!I have both that and AirDisplay and it's no contest. I use Splashtop 2 - Remote Desktop on my iPad. A very smooth application. Unfortunately, Splashtop XDisplay doesn't currently support Vista (Win7 only).
