Here we are turning on each other - attacking individuals's character or personalities.All this is easy to resolve and as I have said countless times - it's all upto Laminar.Why don't they admit the shortfall and adress it - at least with a clear mission statement that they understand the product's release was premature and give clear, concrete ideas as to what the customers can expect and when.It is the least they owe their customers.

Hello,People these are just words it is impossible that all could have the same opinion, please do not take life so seriusly about a software, and I don't pretend to hold any truth as I don't want that, but I admit that I love to read Jim's posts and his relaxed sense of humor that for me is a key in life, be more relaxed and not too serious about a piece of software that is intended for fun. Have you ever bothered to visit the X-Plane 10 Developer Blog? It's actually quite interesting and informative. While it's not the detailed roadmap and timetable you've been whining about for the past few months, it does contain a lot of the information you're asking for.

Let it go Goran. This whole thing started with you poking Jim unnecessarily..and you know he pokes back. Participation in the derailment shows a lack of respect for Andras post and work.

I have seen it every once in a while. I have been a user of X-plane for quite a while now and I could chose to read the "blog" or not, but is that what an average customer is SUPPOSED OR EXPECTED TO DO ? - to read a freaking blog about more promises ? If Laminar was held to that same standard of "EXPECTED TO DO", they wouldn't have the problem to address to begin with, would they ? Have they made any attempt to inform the user base thru emails, briefing them of the shortfalls, the current situation and what exactly is being done and when to fix that ?Let's get this straight. It is Laminar's resposibility, not the customers', who lived up to their end of the bargain by paying the full price when asked.And one more thing - before you characterize and dismiss my complaints as "whining", why don't you have Laminar put a stop to it by having them deliver a complete product - as promised !Fair ?

At least the blog is interesting, informative and educational, unlike the stuff you keep plastering all over the forum.

I don't know if "tkyler" reresents Laminar; I understand he works for them.FWIW, unless I am mistaken, just about an hour or two ago, if I recall correctly, I believe I saw a post by him sayig the following : "We have admitted it and are adressing it."The post seems to have disappeared or has been deleted; so,anyone including Mr. Kyler, please correct me if I am wrong.If the post was deleted, perhaps tkyler can explain why and whether he officially speaks for Laminar when he posts here.

I am assuming your post is not directed at me, but if it is, let me just say that I have not referenced you or your post in any way. So, I will refrain from and remain opposed to any character assassinations or personal attacks. Just to be clear: I DO NOT EXPECT ANY ANSWER FROM YOU, UNLESS YOU REPRESENT LAMINAR !!!!Please do feel free to ignore me !I sincerely hope that my complaints have for the most part been about the product and the publisher, or people who seem to think the publisher can do no wrong or people who work for or assume to be spokesmen for the publisher.
