FT/PIC737 Evo 2D Panel Update FS2004

The FS9 version of the Wilco 737 works fine with Win7 x64. Or the 32 bit OS. They just won't support Win7 with FS9 or some FSX products. But I have the Airbus, 737 and all the ERJ's using win7 without any problem.

Do you have the updated version of RXP's weather radar?
No - but I imagine if the weather radar works in other panels in Win7 x64, it should work here too.

Yup - Just remember to have UAC off when installing, install as administrator, and if it gives you an error and an option to reinstall using suggested settings to go ahead and do so (likely it'll automatically then select the correct compatibility mode when running the installer). In addition, you'll likely need to do the same thing when attempting to run the configurator. At that point, your pre-Evo 737PIC should work just fine in FS2004 on Win7 x64 (just remember to turn off the Aero features in Win7 when running FS2004).

Thanks for the info. Be curious to see if Egbert gets a solution to the LNAV issue.

I 'm curious also. I may want to buy, but I don't have any of the Wilco Evolution upgrades installed. I learned years ago to never purchase from Wilco (and many others) when they first release a product. I can wait to see if they fix the reported problems or just pretent they don't exsist. I can then make a decesion on wheither or not I want to purchase.

Just to clarify - this FS9 2D Panel upgrade is from Feelthere, and is NOT the Evolution upgrade from Wilco, which is for FSX only. It upgrades the panel bitmaps and the gauges. It does not upgrade the model or the VC (other than to use the new gauges). It provides both normal and widescreen options and analog/digital option for engine instruments. I like it as it is a significant visual improvement, but there seems to be something awry with LNAV function at the moment.

You need to recheck your scorce. Feelthere is only publishing the FS9 panel. All support issues need to go thru Wilco. According to Vic on their support forum.

I stand corrected, it seems that feelthere did release the FS9 evo 2D panel.

HiCan somebody check VC cockpit after installation of EVO and post the picture.I know that I had a problems with flaps indicator, so it should include this part of VC cockpit. Thanks in advance.

Apart from the LNAV problem I have discovered others. The Tcas buttoncan not be "pushed" as before to dispay the range rings and the AI aircraft, only shows + or -.I get "stall" on some approaches at low speed with the exact same plan I have used many times with V1.Also with V1 after setting up a new flight I am able to save this in the normal way as a Flight in FS and later load this up and I am ready to go. All settings are saved CDU,legs, speeds and alts, V speeds etc. This can not be done with V2.The graphics are certainly improved but at the expense in performance. The new gauges have been re-written with some flaws and some eg the Engine gauges are reduced in size and hard to read.I find it unusable at the moment and hope a Patch will be forthcoming .So be warned!V1 is still perfect albeit without the "eye candy". Ken Fairbanks

Ken,The TCAS button can be pushed - use the middle button on the mouse. :)I agree about the gauge size - the new panel bitmap include more panel real estate (ie: the gear handle on the right) so it looks like all the gauges have shrunk a bit in order to get this extra area in.I agree the graphics are better, but I think I might revert to v1 for now, as it works fine.

A couple of things I noticed besides the agressive LNAV behavior: I get gear lights when the throttle rolls back for descent and there is no "auto fail" or pressurization warning if the system air/gnd switch is left in the gnd position during flight above 10K feet, in addition the FMC PROG page shows distance to T/C during the climb phase that is clearly incorrect - should be T/D. I'm going to attempt to save a flight and pass it on to FeelThere in the hope that they can reproduce this behavior.DJ

Hi.Did anybody check VC cockpit?I'm curious, is it Flaps position indication gauge , correctly displayed in VC cockpit ?Please Nail%20Biting.gifThanks

I had no trouble saving and loading a flight - the trick was to use the configuration manager setting to approximate the flight condition. For example, if you save a flight when you are ready to start engines and have the aircraft configurator set "cold and dark" it will load the flight and then make it "cold and dark", and so on...DJ

Have any of these issues been reported on the feel there forum so they can get address??
