Maybe I'm weird, but I haven't had this much fun testing and tweaking a game since Crysis.Love testing and trying all the addon demos and freeware too.So many different things to test, try and see. I know for sure I've spent more time testing than actually flying.In the era of console ports, this game brings the PC fun back.Edit: bleh, topic suppose to be tweaking.

There is plenty to tweak so you have years of fun in front of you!

We must all be weird as most of us have been tweaking this game since it first hit the streets in late 2006. Fortunately we have new hardware, cpu's, software, overclocking, and drivers to keep us busy to help get that one more piece of realism out of this old FSX engine.

I'm definitely impressed Stephen with your poetry and creativeness! I just wish you could have tweaked it so you wouldn't have had to mention 'REX' as people like me, who only own and 'soar' through FEX and AS2012, feel left out. What were you thinking??? :LMAO:Best regards,Jim

Alas this was a vice that I too fell into...and now I am trying to go cold turkey and actually get some decent flying hours under my belt!It can be fun but it can also be a vicious circle of endless tweaking for diminishing returns...

yep .. its weird. In all honesty, you can tweak you system in a day, anything after that really will not make much difference.

I for one will never be satisfied with my current settings.I try a different ENB setting like every week.Always looking the next best immersive thing.

If you really want to get hooked on tweaking and fiddling, start building your own custom AI packages. That will keep you busy for a lomg time and can almost become a side hobby.

The ability to tinker/customize is what makes a hobby and not just a game.
