March 27, 201214 yr you are always ahead of mebut not wrt flight. followed the step by step guide and reinstalled all, no good. just got yet another CTD:Faulting application name: Flight.exe, version: 1.0.0.30016, time stamp: 0x4f28a36aFaulting module name: Flight.exe, version: 1.0.0.30016, time stamp: 0x4f28a36aException code: 0xc0000005Fault offset: 0x003e3dd1Faulting process id: 0x1038Faulting application start time: 0x01cd0c5dcd87ace6Faulting application path: Z:FlightMicrosoft GamesMicrosoft FlightFlight.exeFaulting module path: Z:FlightMicrosoft GamesMicrosoft FlightFlight.exeReport Id: a568266c-7851-11e1-89bb-bcaec5ab0911 ok, I admit I saw 1 thing too late: the driversweeper. used that before though, guess last year. but not this time today. I doubt that it'll make a change, especially since the recent crash above does not refer to any nvidia dll... but of course I will also give that one a try. but not tonight... March 27, 201214 yr but not wrt flight. followed the step by step guide and reinstalled all, no good. just got yet another CTD:Dang Phil, man that bites.Best of luck - hope you can get that figured out and stable sooner rather than later.Check out my suggestion in this thread, post#21 I believe, in regards to using Driver Sweeper:http://forum.avsim.n...um-requirement/ Don B
March 27, 201214 yr Gacview works great for cleaning out old ATI leftovers, probably would help with nvidia as well.
March 27, 201214 yr MP has been blamed on why there is no AI aircraft in Flight, or ATC, now it is given as a reason for not modeling damage. If that is all true, clearly we need to get rid of MP . . . since it is crippling the rest of Flight.Guess that makes me glad you're not on the Flight team then. I'm quite the opposite, I'd rather have decent (or arguably "good") multiplayer than disintegrating aircraft and computerized voices telling me where to fly. (As to the AI, I'm not convinced the limitations to that have anything to do with multiplayer: I've seen mission-specific AI craft transmitted flawlessly to other players in a session.) Too late!! Another plane can already take you out, realistic damage modeled or not.I have had a scenario in my head for weeks where some HC simmer after flying in from Alaska all night with scrupulous adherence to all real life procedures is knocked out of the sky by some little girl yelling "Wheeeeeeeeeeeee.....!!!" Like the Geico pig as he comes in on final!!!! :LMAO:Perhaps locked single player with atc........?In the meantime, I was in a game with some people recently, a few of whom where of the dive bombing variety. Since I was just sightseeing anyway, I yelled "Bumper planes!!!" which caused an instant fur-ball of swooping whirling and diving planes. Was it unrealistic? Why yes. Yes it was.Was it exciting and fun trying to keep from being rammed? Also yes............If you are out in the public, sometimes you have to just go with the flow and have fun; ending up in a conga line even when that was far from your original intent for the evening.I'm all for it when people are into it, I just think that as it is right now, the few trolls tend to get bored with it when other people aren't really playing along. I don't think that boredom would kick in as quickly if they were rewarded with more "realistic" collisions between player aircraft. I've only had a few encounters with Kamikaze pilots, and I solved one by using an aircraft spoofing glitch that left him crashing into a parked airframe while I cruised around elsewhere. I think it could use one fix though: when people are booted from a game, don't let them rejoin without an invite! Are you listening Microsoft?

(As to the AI, I'm not convinced the limitations to that have anything to do with multiplayer: I've seen mission-specific AI craft transmitted flawlessly to other players in a session.)I guess you missed my last post:My previous reply was just a response to all to posts that use MP as an excuse for Flight not having AI, ATC, and (now) damage modeling. I very seldom use MP, but I do not honestly want it to be removed, since others seem to enjoy it (and it can be a great training tool). And modeling damage is way more than just "disintegrating aircraft" . . . it includes stuff like stress damage (from exceeding design speeds/g-forces, and engine damage, from excessive rpms. ~ Arwen ~ Home Airfield: KHIE
March 27, 201214 yr man that bitesit does.anybody here knows with which nvidia driver version flight was tested? March 27, 201214 yr I guess you missed my last post: I saw it, that's why I came back with the "glad you aren't on the Flight team" as a joke. And modeling damage is way more than just "disintegrating aircraft" . . . it includes stuff like stress damage (from exceeding design speeds/g-forces, and engine damage, from excessive rpms. I'm well aware of that and would love to see overstressing and engine damage (which would have little effect on multiplayer), but I thought from my post it would be clear that I was referring to the way that aircraft behaved after a crash, in the case of Flight going ballistic and remaining in one piece.
March 27, 201214 yr Sorry, I'm not great at telling when something is meant to be a joke. Go easy on the dumb-blonde jokes please. :P ~ Arwen ~ Home Airfield: KHIE
March 28, 201214 yr anybody here knows with which nvidia driver version flight was tested?285.62 but also works with 295.73 WHQL Ramón. Time, is the one thing no one can buy.
March 28, 201214 yr 285.62thanks, ramon. will install that one now with driversweeper. though I am afraid is has nothing to do with the driver since lately the app crashes are not related to any nvidida dll files but just flight.exe Phil Leaven i5 10600KF, 32 GB 3200 RAM, ASUS 4070 12GB EVO, Asus ROG Z490-H, 2 WD Black NVME for each Win11 (500GB) and MSFS (1TB), Rolling Cache 16GB, Photogrammetry always OFF, Live Weather and Live Traffic always ON, Res 2560x1440 on 27"
