Too bad there is not a 0 - will not purchase - option for those of us who choose not to purchase due to not having a cockpit...

Don B

You are right, so please consider 1 for the ones who didn't buy the plane, me included of course.

0 will not buy

It's a ZERO!Yet, I must confess, it look gourgeous from the outside in the preview :-|

Flying gliders since 1980

Flightsimming since 1992

AMD Ryzen 5600x, 32GB RAM, GPU Nvidia RTX 3060 Ti 8 GB, 1 TB and 500 GB nvme2 SSD drives, HP 27" 60Hz LED monitor @ 1920x1080, T16000, Hotas from old X52 Pro, Saitek Combat Rudder Pro (2010 model)

Below zero...

If people keep snatching up the no cockpit planes, the data MS will see is people love them.Doesn't matter what is said on the forums when the DLC Data that MS uses shows the opposite.example : 10k people complaining vs. 50k downloads (which includes the complainers)No Brainer you would see more.

0 for me also. Really sad, they take the fasest retractable gear aircraft and make them totally unacceptable to anyone but the kids!!!!!!!!!! Just fail to see the big picture I guess.

I like polls because in a blink of an eye they summarize the opinion of hundreds of persons. This portion of the world opinion explains also the full global opinion, in proportion.

The plane is a lot of fun to fly. No cockpit sure is a bummer, but hey, its dirt cheap and like i said, a lot of fun to fly. The low price point totally makes up for the lack of cockpit. You can say they are for kids, you can try to boycott it, whatever. Im enjoying it, and at the end of the day that is what matters. I am just as upset as you guys that there is no cockpit, but we knew this was coming. You guys nit pick every little thing the Flight team says in interviews, I would expect you all to know that their intention from the start was to release Basic aircraft along side Deluxe aircraft.Would I have liked a Deluxe aircraft? Sure! But in the mean time, I will take a very fun, $4 plane without a cockpit and wait patiently for Alaska.

I suppose for what it is - a cockpitless vintage plane, it's pretty nice - I'd give it an 8 for what it is - it appears to be a nicely done VC-less plane. It's not too interesting to me, but as with FSX, there were a LOT of planes available that I didn't care for and those even had a cockpit :) - that being said, if it's only $5, I'll probably go ahead an buy it just because it's so cheap and being able to slide the view back into a static cockpit adds a lot to the fun. True too with FSX planes, if they were all <$10, I'd have a lot more of them if only for the variety and brief entertainment value. I also consider the purchase a minimal investment 'risk' to help ensure the continued development of the Flight platform. I suppose in other words, I really don't want non-VC planes, but if it's cheap enough and that's all there is to choose from, and it helps further Flight development, I figure I might as well. . .

Another RC aircraft? Yeah, I siad it. Remote/Radio Controlled. If I can't get in and fly from the cockpit, I think it's nothing more than a glorified RC aircraft.Sorry Microsoft, Like the P-51, I'll be passing on this one. And from a retired Air Force aviation nut, that's just a crying shame.WildBillEdit: Wow, my post was downgraded for stating my opinion. Someone on here is kinda intolerant of opinions that conflict with their own.

I did, because calling it a "glorified RC aircraft", you are just trying to stir the pot. How can you give an honest opinion of it when you havent even flown it?

Hehe. Welcome to the internet. Happens to all of us now and then. If it's any consolation let me tell you that being a total jackass while stating your opinions will have an even bigger impact on your rating.

None of us has flown it so actually this whole poll is a bit pointless. A simple "Will you buy it? yes, no or maybe" would've been enough. Besides, comparing a virtual model that you can only view from the outside with an RC model isn't that far off I think.I'm not buying it either btw, for the same reason as most of us.
