April 7, 201214 yr Fantastic shots and panel! I know how to paint, dont have a clue how to work on panels. I was fortunate enough to ride on this majestic plane back when I was a kid From JFK to Rota, Spain (Was a Pan Am military charter). I still have a vivid memory of flying into the sunrise and watching the morning sun glistening off the wing and those awesome engines. Similar to shot 4 but I was a little further back, sitting directly over the wing, just in front of the exit row. ah, john travolta's jet, he surely made a good decision with this plane :) He sure did Darth! The guy is quite a pilot too. I remember reading an article in Flying magazine a few years back where they talked about a pilot who had a total electric failure in his G5 at night in IFR conditions and managed to get the plane on the ground ok. They didn't mention the pilot's name in the article, but in next month's issue in the editorial section, they said "Oh, in last months edition we mentioned that a pilot safely landed a G5 with a total electric failure in IFR conditions, that pilot was John Tavolta." I saw his 707 sitting at the executive ramp at KATL one Monday morning taking my weekly commuting flight to DFW...quite an impressive bird (Although I think he needs to repaint it in Pan Am's livery.... truly an aviation classic!) April 8, 201214 yr i have that bird too but i haver never seen the gauges that sharp on your pictures. nvdia inspector's anti aliasing settings makes almost no improvements and they look pretty shimmering. Cenk Demir Besiktas JK 1903

April 8, 201214 yr Author Sweet shots!..... a 2D 707 panel is definitely on my to do list. For FSX ? Did not think you treaded those waters Ed... :good: Nice bird! How is the VC in comparison to the CS 727? Much sharper...I could almost get used to that qualiy - if it were'nt for the performance hit. I presume you asked about the FSX models ? My makeshift 2D panel is still about 30-40% faster....makes a big difference on takoff and approach... Sixth pic is masterpiece!!! All pics are great especially wing view pics!! What is red stuff on the lake?????? Aharon Don't know - sorry. I suppose we should ask Bay area natives about that ... i have that bird too but i haver never seen the gauges that sharp on your pictures. nvdia inspector's anti aliasing settings makes almost no improvements and they look pretty shimmering. April 9, 201214 yr For FSX ? Did not think you treaded those waters Ed... Erm...no. A proper 2D panel à la FS9. My FS Videos
April 9, 201214 yr I presume you asked about the FSX models ? You´re right, about the model itselfe. I have the 727 and the Vc does look good if you´re far away but from the near, all the switches aren´t round as they should but very angular. That doesn´t really look good. Thus my question.
