Since PMDG has suddenly found themselves in a complete dearth of things to do, I thought I should chime in and offer my suggestions.

 

Clearly, the evidence states that the market for Boeing is dropping drastically, and that the Airbus market is taking a similar down turn. Because of this, and because making small jets is of no use because they will have similarly poor sales, I think that development should take a drastic turn into a different genre. I have included a laundry list of my suggestions at the bottom of this posting.

 

Obviously, everyone has been anxiously awaiting more news about the Woodpigeon and PMDG has been silent on the issue for quite some time. If I were to run a company, I would be making more public statements on the forums. I would say that this management stance is terrible for PR and we in the forums demand more respect! Where is the Woodpigeon? The last announcementy said that it was caught up with a technical glitch. It should be easy to fix such a glitch, because the systems are very straightforward.

 

Also, if you look closely enough, you will see that the nose is particularly misshapen. I have outlined it in red and have posted a picture:

 

As you can see, the tail is also slightly off, as you can see in these images I found on google:

 

These are the schematics that my friend sent me, who has actual airliner experience in the Woodpigeon, and he said that it neither looks correct, nor flies with the inertia that it feels like in the real thing. He also said that when you fly at 80 knots that the wing cords vibrate to a B flat tone, but in the video posted on YouTube, the B flat tone is there, but you're only flying at 75 knots, which is not right:

 

Also, if you need beta testers, I have some hours in the type in a RW simulator, and I have thousands of hours in flight sim, so I think I would be a good candidate. Robert and Ryan, I have sent you both PMs, why don't you respond? Also, I sent a PM to the Dr, suggesting a new algorithm for calculating the lift on both wings, but he didn't respond either. Why?

 

I am very much looking forward to the Woodpigeon, so I hope it will release soon. I know you don't like to put out release dates, but how much longer do you think it will be? Beta should be short, since you are re-using code from earlier, right? Also, can you please make sure the airman's goggles are properly simulated, and the cabin is properly modeled?
