Yes Ron, the throttle lever is pushed fully forward. Funny thing is though, it doesn't happen all of the time...??

What happens if you press Q twice?

 

I sometimes have this happen with ES Cirrus... the sound gets stuck at max power even with low power settings.

Here's what I've experienced and I now know the signs. I have a Saitek TQ, a CH TQ(for twins) and a Saitek TPM attached. Now if one of the ones I'm not using gets a nudge away from the fully ON position it will intermittently take over. A quick push to full throttle gives back control to the unit I'm using.

If you tell me you've only got ONE throttle attached then I'm buggered!

Be prepared to be buggered Ron :Just Kidding: .... I only have one throttle... It's past my bedtime now, so tomorrow I will be taking my new toy out for a spin around Walter Sutton's, so I'll keep tabs on things and try the trick Ryan mentioned, cheers.

I just bought this add on and got a few issues. Maybe someone can point me with some tips.

1. Can't seem to get the panel light turn on. It suppose to have blue panel light. I have tried switches to the middle as well as to the top, nothing seem to happen. 2. I have been searching through Ron's repaint for this bird, but no luck. Maybe you can enclose a link here? Thanks :Kiss:

This is also been solve. What I have experience so far is this panel light switch work with some of the default RVs. I'm using Ron's texture.paint_7Asldr_VH-SDG and the panel light switch work fine. Only crashed with usual d3d9.dll fault landing at 4s2 PNW Orbx scenery. Even though I got the latest FSUIPC4 ver.4.823 installed.

Is there some compelling reason these items are not being posted at the BayTower Support site where you would most like get a better answer due to the folks there all have the RV-7? Most of a new Avsim review of the BTS RV-7 was posted today on the new Avsim Front page - the last couple of pages was omitted by some limitation or some growing pains. The balance of the review is in the Review Feedback forum.

Totally agree, don't know why I posted here. Perhaps AVsim feel more like home to me? Problem solved from mobo->display to software tweaks. Anyway, thanks for the reminder, I shall post there in future if anymore issue arises with RVs.
