This is actually decent scenery especially when pared with Latin VFR's KMIA. We needed something nice for Miami.

There is also a guy working on one which looks pretty nice both for FS9 and FSX

Ian, if you mean the custom KMIA included in this pack, then I am afraid it may not happen.

However the LatinVFR KMIA which is compatible with the product is already supported.

Yes, now I've purchased it I see what you mean. But the scenery itself is still outstanding, and hopefully some day Fly Tampa will release a new version of KMIA. In the meantime, I will probably stick to some VFR or helo flights around this gorgeous scenery

 

As for your second comment my friend - actually, I am dead. Have been for years. But my soul just won't leave FS and so my wife has a wax dummy that looks like me sitting in the chair in front of the computer and my invisible fingers just go on flying. Every now and then she comes and dusts me off and vacuums the floor. I actually did get an invitation to go to heaven but they only have FSX there so I declined! Hell was even worse - FS2000 only.

FlyTampa stated they will not redo KMIA. The Latin VFR version is as outstanding as it get's. I'm very impressed with it.

Has anyone worked out compatability issues with the old FreeFlow Florida scenery? I have deactivated their MiamiCity scenery, but wondered if there were other files that might cause conflict?

Good point Rafal. Purgatory perhaps? Now that I think about it, the guide showing me around did give a kind of evil laugh when I asked if I would get a full GoFlight cockpit and wrap-around screen...

I had been wanting a good photoreal Miami scenery for quite some time. The skyline is outstanding, they even did the building on the bay where my ex and I met. It works great with LatinVFR Miami, the only issue I have is that I have two American Airlines arenas, If someone can help with that it would be great.

I had an old miami city skyline which I deleted, but still got double arenas. It would be great though if someone did the water colors around Miami accurately.

1. Autogen is very random - I have trees in the middle of Interstate highways and even coming out of the roofs of buildings (Using UT USA but I can't see why that should matter?)

2. The Port addon is great, but my cruise ships are each surrounded by a land texture. I suspect it's the shadow effect that I see in the screenies above but for me it's not working. Each ship rests on a rectangle of land that juts out into the waterwayand surrounds the ship

Not seeing this. Sounds like your issues are from UT USA. That's why I uninstalled it years ago. Hawaii had hotels in the water when I first installed this add-on and I found most scenery available was designed to be compatible with the default scenery not UT USA where things were moved around. UT USA is a great concept but unless a scenery designer makes a special version for it you'll find in more than a few cases many things are just not compatible with it.

Mine even refuses to vacuum in here now - she just rubs her finger accusingly across the dust on my equipment!
