You mean GSX (Ground Services X)? Since GEX (Ground enviroment x) doesn"t provide a show that you could see while cold and dark. GSX is all the catering trucks and baggage loaders, etc.

does it hit FPS hard? bearing in mind I have airport services such as carts etc off atm!

Don't forget FS2Crew. I was deciding between FS2Crew and Ground Service X and went with FS2Crew -- learning the flows is great. Now all I have to is learn what switches my co-pilot are pressing until I can fully operate it bymyself :)

Hope to use it with IVAO for a more surreal experience soon. Will buy GSX once it drops in price; it is still a little pricey IMHO.

I flew in to Brussels and called the follow me car and it was right there waiting, the car speeds up or slows slows depending on the pilot. followed him in where he lined me up with a marshal who carefully waved me into position and gradually closed the space between his arms until l they crossed ...and then the fun began

The animations are amazing which in turn makes me wonder if pmdg could have done a bit better with the very stiff plastic models in the cockpit, sure not many will see in there but if they do it will be disappointing

No hard hit on my fps. Also they're only there while you sit on the ground, so no big worries.

Like Mattias said there is no FPS hit. GSX only gives ground services to your aircraft not all the AI a/c sitting at the airport. The FPS hit is equal to about 1 AI plane, which is about zero FPS hit. Plus its only active when your on the ground taxing or parked so even if there was an FPS hit, it wouldn't be noticible.

I tried GSX but in my opinion Aerosoft AES still remains the best, more simple to handle and more immediate. Further, it controls the fingers, thing that GSX doesn't do and if you have a second computer you can use AES Remote, through which you can give the commands from the other computer without having windows open on your FS screen (my philosophy is: on the FS screen I should only see my virtual cockpit, no other windows, I just allow the FS2Crew main panel only when starting FS2Crew...).

James Goggi

Yea, but GSX works on all airports, AES do not, GSX is much cheaper. At the other side AES handle fingers and you can use it remotely as you said, so we can choose what we like :)

Learn Aplified procedures chapter in FCOM and print a checklist, and you don't need any FS CREWS adn other stuff which automizes the stuff that already atomized as hell.

Some of us like the realism of having an FO to help fly a plane that was designed for a flight crew of 2.

How many 737's have you seen flying with the right seat empty?

Let me know if you do, I'll call the FAA.
